AI helped create a cancer vaccine. Data centers are lowering people’s property taxes, revitalizing dying towns by flushing them with revenue, and…helping power the infrastructure to cure cancer.

This is entirely predictable. According to the DSA's most recent survey, over 80% of members have college degrees, and the group is almost entirely white. The idea that the activist left is led by the "working class" is a myth. It's mostly an elite phenomenon.

This is a myth. Data centers have had a negligible impact on electricity prices thus far. The actual drivers are aging grids, fuel costs, clean-energy mandates, and political barriers to building more power plants. This panic is totally divorced from reality.
