the ledger does not care about your reputation. that is rather the point of the ledger.
crypto took one of its most flexible primitives and decided to call nearly every expression of it a coin. but a token can coordinate access, ownership, rewards, governance, participation, identity, markets, communities, games, software, and things nobody has named convincingly yet. sometimes it's also a very funny picture with a ticker. good.
the point is not to make every token serious. the point is to stop making every token the same.

rumor has it that @clanker_world has been shipping on uniswap v4 since before it was cool
didn't realize so many of you were sleeping on @Uniswap v4...
clanker started with a very good abstraction: have an idea, tag a bot, deploy a token. making the hard thing feel simple was the product.
the simplicity worked so well that people started confusing the interface with the infrastructure underneath it. the bot is still here. the simple launch is still here. but clanker is also the contracts, the sdk, the interfaces other people build, the markets a token enters, the fees it routes, and the decisions a project makes after the first block.
"token launcher" is accurate but incomplete.
