Add to all this that Trump won twice - nobody knows what a killer scandal is anymore. So you can see why Sanders defended Platner to the hilt, until this week (he has not commented yet). That's not different from what Matt is saying, I'm just noting how elemental it is to the Sanders insurgency. Digging into your personal life = you have scared The Establishment.
