I firmly believe capital is not a competitive advantage.
Almost every founder, VC & LP I talk to right now believes something closer to the opposite. More capital = signal of a better company, a better investment, a better return.
AI genuinely is creating the need for more capital in a lot of cases, so I understand where it comes from.
But companies that do more with less capital outperform. They have in the past, and that'll continue.
