My male friend at work told me, “Women say they want equality, but they still expect men to pay for dates” I asked him, “Would you split everything 50 50?” He said, “Absolutely” I asked, “Including pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding, and the physical recovery afterward?” He said, “Obviously those are different” I said, “Exactly, So maybe equality was never supposed to mean pretending men and women experience everything equally. Maybe it means both people contribute fairly instead of picking whichever traditional rules benefit them” He stared at me and said, “I never thought about it like that” I said, “That's the problem with selective tradition”

What’s wrong with My aunt, she said, “If a woman posts thirst traps online, she can't complain when men sexualize her” I asked, “So if a man posts shirtless pictures, are women allowed to treat him however they want?” She said, “That's different” I asked, “How?” My uncle jumped in and said, “Women don't look at men the same way” I said, “Then why do we keep using someone's decision to post a picture as permission to disrespect them?” Nobody answered. Maybe posting yourself online means accepting attention, but it doesn't mean surrendering your right to decide what kind of attention you accept.

My male coworker said, “Women shouldn't be offended when men look at them if they're wearing revealing clothes.” I asked, “So if someone walks into your office wearing something attractive, are you entitled to stare because they chose that outfit?” He said, “Looking isn't hurting anyone.” I said, “Neither is wearing the clothes you want. The difference is one person is minding their business.” He said, “Men are visual.” I said, “And women have eyes too. Somehow we're expected to control ourselves while men get to call their lack of self-control biology.” He didn't have much to say after that.

Men hate women so much that they cannot fathom a man doing something nice for a woman and it not being motivated by sex.
men saying they're "superior" because they're physically stronger (and often times only potentially) is so funny because physical strength isn't even what makes us "superior" to other animals, why would it matter within our own species?
Especially when almost nothing we need on a day to day basis is dependent on exuberant physical strength?
