even the traders i know who mainly hold coins long term, they do so very selectively and put in thousands of hours into their craft to be the best, sleuth for the best coins and in turn make millions
the idea that you should be able to be handed millions of dollars without putting in any work is comical and has never been a thing at scale, it is entirely survivorship bias from a very small group of individuals who got luck and accidentally made large sums of money on dogecion/pepe/etc in the past
