Do people in the real world understand what is happening in our country right now or is it just those of us on X? I only ask because my neighbor told me she isn't interested in "politics." How do I explain that this is so far beyond "politics?" The apathy is astounding.

Today at my local liberal-elite coffee shop in Massachusetts, a small crowd gathered around a single mom with a one-year-old. She explained that after giving birth, while home alone eating her own placenta, she realized she was actually a man. That revelation, she said, forced the “most harrowing decision” of her life. She wanted to breastfeed her baby but couldn’t continue doing so while taking testosterone. She chose to transition anyway because she didn’t want to “lie” to her child about who she really was. But it gets better. She felt no guilt depriving her child of breast milk, yet did feel guilty about losing “skin-on-skin breast nuzzles” so she has postponed her mastectomy. But wait, there’s more. Because she didn’t feel authentically male with breasts, she intentionally gained dozens of pounds on top of her pregnancy weight, explaining that it’s normal for “larger men to have breasts.” Now she wants to encourage husbands to gain weight alongside their pregnant wives so they, too, can experience “skin-on-skin breast nuzzles.” The term “skin-on-skin breast nuzzles,” was mentioned at least a dozen times. It was the third most used term I overheard after “authentic self” and “you are so brave.” She also wants more men to grow beards because she read that babies benefit from playing with facial hair. She thinks this is something the “Muslim tradition really gets right.” Yes, she had a beard. A scraggly one. She’s also considering starting a foundation to promote this work but probably couldn’t because “Trump has made 501(c)(3)s basically illegal” and doesn’t want the “gestapo stopping us.” She may instead “go underground” and accept cash donations instead. The small crowd nodded enthusiastically through every word. One older woman suggested that more “skin-on-skin breast nuzzles” and “beard play” might be the cure for “so many young American boys becoming fascists.” It remained unclear whether the baby was a boy or a girl. Nobody dared ask.

I am pleading with Democrats: give us a leader on @ChinaSelect who gives a shit that American state government officials are being directly attacked by Chinese Communist Party agents. Yesterday, I testified about a Nebraska state senator who was visited by a Chinese corporation that threatened Nebraska's entire state economy over a CCP foreign agent registration law. I personally received a death threat from a CCP state actor right after one of the Nebraska hearings. I also testified about a cyberattack that shut down a Texas committee hearing that focused on CCP threats. One thing I didn't mention is how Chinese nationals surrounded a Texas state senator and told her "we know where you live" in response to her proposal to keep CCP companies out of Texas. It's not just Texas and Nebraska. It's happening all over the country. @RepRoKhanna ignored all of that. He didn't care that CCP agents are directly threatening both Democrats and Republicans at the state level. Instead, Ro launched into a rant defending CCP birth tourism scams and saying anyone who opposes these scams (probably 90%+ of American people) is a racist. And the context in which Ro brought this up? He was strangely almost defending CCP terrorists who tried to bomb MacDill AFB on March 10th of this year because those CCP terrorists became American citizens by birthright. Democrats: I know you're way better than this because so many of you are messaging me to thank me for dismantling Ro in committee yesterday. But we desperately need leaders on @ChinaSelect who will protect the country, or at least protect fellow American elected officials. And Ro Khanna ain't it.
