Since morning I’ve been seeing very encouraging posts from the farmer’s society and all I kept wishing for was a space of my own where I can start farming. But how do you even plant plantains? They don’t have seeds.

This is the kind of crop that makes agriculture exciting! Ewedu is not just for your amala..it can also be a serious income stream when properly managed.
My experience with farming taught me selling is the most critical part of farming as a business.
There is a limit to how much farm produce one can sell directly to consumers. It is when you start farming on a large scale that you will find out there are middleman in markets who off-take and give you a take-it-or-leave-it price. For a perisahble farm produce, you don't have a choice.
