The apostle Peter refers to Satan as one who “prowls around like a roaring lion looking to someone to devour”. Yet even though the devil is as dangerous as a lion, he’s on a short leash. His eternal destination is certain. While he may be able to harass us, tempt us, and prompt us to stumble, our ultimate victory over him and this work was secured for us when Jesus Christ defeated sin once and for all on the cross.

Building Intimacy With God Every small step toward God can lead us into deeper intimacy with Him. Psalm 139:1-4 Intimacy with God doesn’t just is true of any meaningful relationship, closeness with Him requires intentionality and ...  Honesty about where we are. We can’t build intimacy while pretending everything is fine. God already knows our struggles, doubts, and failures. He wants us to bring our real self to Him rather than a polished version. Confession isn’t about informing God of something He doesn’t know; it’s about agreeing with Him about the truth of our condition. Willingness to trust in His character. Intimacy grows when we understand who God truly is. The more we know His faithfulness, goodness, and love, the more confidently we can draw near. Trust doesn’t mean we never question; rather, it means we anchor ourselves in what we know to be true about Him. Vulnerability before Him. We’re to open our heart to God—in other words, let Him see our fears, disappointments, and longings. Unlike other relationships, where vulnerability can lead to rejection, the Lord knows us fully and loves us still. God designed us for intimacy with Him. He’s always available, always present. Even small steps toward Him—a moment of honest prayer, reading His Word, sitting quietly in His presence—draw us closer. He meets us wherever we are.

I don’t know who needs to read this but this was a part of my bible reading tonight and wanted to share it… Jeremiah 33:1-3 Answers to Life’s Questions: How can I make My Prayer Life Fresh And New? The prophet Jeremiah was not a popular man. When he declared the truth God had given him-that Judah would soon start 70 long years in captivity-the people threw him into prison Yet in such dire circumstances, Jeremiah learned something profound about prayer. Jeremiah 33-2-3 says, “This is what the Lord says, he who made the earth, formed it and established it-the Lord is his name: ‘Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.’”
Prayer is a very real part of a vital relationship with God. It is not reserved for some special spiritual elite-it is for you. Three principles within these verses can transform your old notions about prayer into something fresh and new.
First, God says, “Call tot me.” He wants to hear from you. His loving, omnipotent heart desires to hear your innermost thoughts and feelings. He wants to hear from you in the hard times and when life is going smoothly. In fact, your sweetest times of prayer happen when you come before him simply to praise, worship, and give thanks for what he has done.
Second, God says, “I will answer you.” Do you believe that? Perhaps you once asked God for something he did not give you, and since then you have harbored secret worries that he did not hear or did not care to answer. But God himself says to you, “I will answer you.” That answer may not take the form you anticipated or come when you desire, but he will respond. He might say yes, no, or wait. You may not understand the reasons behind his answer, but you can trust that they are best for you.
Third, God says, “I will… tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.” You have finite wisdom and understanding; God knows all. He knows the big picture; you see merely a tiny piece. When you ask him to guide you, he works to direct you as a part of his higher vision and calling.
If you take that first step of calling out to him, prayer can become an important part of a dynamic relationship with almighty God. Do it today-he waits to hear your voice.

Just finished bible time… Jeremiah 32:17 - “Ah, Sovereign LORD, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for you.” We agree God can do whatever He pleases… then we still question what He asks us to do. He doesn’t need us to understand it. Just obey. Even when it seems unreasonable. Nothing is too hard for God. Submit to Him and watch Him work. Hope this touches your hearts as much as it did mine. ✝️🙏

Jesus Is Stronger Than Our Fears Though storms may rage around us, Jesus is still present—He is our calm within the storm. Mark 4:37-37 The evening Jesus calmed the fierce gale on the Sea of Galilee, His disciples were terrified. Watching a storm from shore is one thing—dramatic but distant. But when you’re in the boat with waves crashing over the sides and rain pelting your face, fear becomes very real. We all face storms of some sort: physical crises, relational ruptures, financial pressures, overwhelming circumstances. When troubles hit, we might find ourselves crying out, “God, where are You?” He is where He’s always been. The problem isn’t His absence; it’s that fear can make it hard to see Him clearly. Remember, this is Jesus, whose voice commands nature itself. He is sovereign over every type of storm we face. Our Savior knows we are frail, and He doesn’t stand at a distance critiquing our panic. He is present with us in the chaos, and He speaks peace into our heart even when the circumstances haven’t changed yet. With three words, Jesus calmed a storm instantly. Sometimes He calms our storms just as quickly. Other times, He calms us in the midst of them, giving us His peace while the waves still rage. Either way, He is faithful. When we turn to Him in trust, we discover that His presence is always more than enough.

I have unfortunate news about my SSD Drive. A few weeks back I posted about me purchasing a Samsung T7 hard drive for all my sentry and dashcam footage… After these few weeks of using it, it’s messed up and keeps saying “Unavailable” right next to Sentry. Sunday hits different when you can get yourself to church. Independence with CP isn’t loud. It’s quiet gratitude next to Ghost in the parking lot. Thankful for my Tesla. Thankful for the day. Thankful for grace.

Confident About Salvation Because of Christ’s victory on the cross, we have the blessed assurance of joy, forgiveness, and eternal life with Him. 1 Corinthians 15:3-4 Salvation fills believers with joy! When we grasp what God has done, confidence becomes the foundation for a life of purpose and peace. We all start in the same place—separated from God by sin, unable to bridge the gap. No amount of good behavior or sincere effort can reconnect us to God. We’re spiritually dead, in desperate need of rescue. And here’s the staggering good news: Jesus shed His blood for our sins. His death on the cross wasn’t a tragic ending—it was the victory over sin and death itself. When we trust in Jesus as Savior, God declares us forgiven. But God doesn’t save us and then leave us to figure out the rest on our own. He sends His Holy Spirit to live within everyone who places faith in Jesus. The Spirit guides us into truth, transforms our desires, and empowers us to live in ways that honor God. This is what salvation offers: forgiveness, new life, God’s presence within us, and the promise of eternity with Him. Jesus is the way to eternal life, and the Holy Spirit provides everything we need in order to walk with Him. What blessed assurance!
