This was a big trading week for many of us. If you made money, I suggest you take it out of your trading accounts and properly fund your tax account. Trading to grow my personal accounts, not my trading account. If you want to trade bigger size do so after consistent weeks, but don’t do it just cause you have extra money in your account, it’s a passport to poverty. When it comes time for you to increase your unit size, I found it best to add money that I have earned back into my trading account. Remember, we are small business owners so we must properly maintain our tax accounts. I am not an accountant, so please consult one that specializes in futures. However, what I suggest you do is put away at least 30% of everything you take out of your trading account into an into a different account that you call “your tax account”. I maintain my tax accounts at a different bank that I maintain my personal account in so that I don’t mess with my tax account. Proper account management is very important to a long-term profitable career. I don’t see many people talk about it. Please consult a CPA. Have a great day and a blessed weekend same thing

the trade is short 30 yr bonds targeting 107.04-06, short gold at 4591 down to 4492, sell more under 4492, took 25% off at 4470 to pay for the trade, I will flatten at 4325 or scratch the balance. ES and NQ suck so far. It would have been nice to buy some CL, missed that....... Todays OR's for my group.

Ok-so remember, 202 pt swings with 101 pt ladder rungs. The swing trade is short below 7402 to take profit at 7307, sell more under 7300 to complete at 7200. If we get back above 7400 the swing is over and we stay in this tight range, watch cl, and VERY VERY importantly is to watch the 30 yr bonds are taking out last years lows.......... very unbullish(@chigrl

A GREAT series. Great game today. The Sox are for real, or they will be. I got my season tickets back this year because how fun I felt this team would be. The rivalry between the Sox and the Cubs is intense and fun. No matter the jawing back and forth, chants of “Green bay Sucks, Green Bay Sucks”, that is one thing the entire Chicagoland could agree on.

2 yrs ago today I came close to dying. When I was crashing I asked the doc to not let die, she told me to give her 3 minutes, I thought “I can do anything for 3 minutes”! I asked for my wife and she came next to me I can do anything with her by my side. In that moment In wasn’t thinking about my money or the material world. I was thinking about Love, the Love that created me, died for me & resurrected for me, I was thinking about the love my wife gave me and the love I had for our children. I am grateful for Faith, Hope and Love which gives me life and gives it to me abundantly. I am grateful for my wife Jen and my 5 kids. I am grateful for the community I build wherever I go and whoever I meet. I am grateful for you all. Look out for each other. Help each other carry each other to carry our crosses and we will change the world. God bless us all-EVERY ONE OF YOU.

I had dinner with my 16 yr old daughter last night. I have 3 daughters and 2 sons. I spend time with each of them. I take my daughters out once a month or so for a date night. My baby was asking me questions about some of the gangsters I got to know well in my life. I told her about going to St Tropez with the boss of Chicago mafia or outfit at the time. She laughed and said “Dad, if I try to tell my friends ANYTHING about you they would think I am making it up”. I laughed and said something about being an interesting guy she said “you KNOW you are interesting”! I love that my kids think that. Lol. She doesn’t even know 25% of it. Maybe someday I will write a book.

Today was a day. I woke up at 4:40 with a rapid & irregular heartbeat. It didn’t get better by the market open. I went to the ER where I was diagnosed with AFIB-first time anything like this has happened. The docs gave me some meds to bring my heart back into rhythm. It didn’t work. They decided to shock my heart back into rhythm with paddles-just like the movies. After I came out of the anesthesia I felt nauseous. My heart rate began to decline till I crashed. I was awake the entire time. The room was packed with people working on me. I was terrified & knew in real time I was dying & ny body kicked into fight mode to stay alive. After 2 shots of adrenaline & other interventions I stabilized. The fact I am in such good physical shape helped me. It was a scary experience. I am spending the night in cardiac ICU. My beautiful wife was with me through this entire thing. I am so grateful to be alive. So thankful my story isn’t over. God is good.
