Honoring Liv, today, on her 16th Birthday🩷💫 Today we celebrate Liv the only way we know how—by keeping her memory alive. She would have turned 16, a milestone she never got to reach because cancer stole it from her and from us. Too many other families walk this same painful road. Over the past few months, we poured our hearts, energy, and countless hours into building Liv's Stargrace Foundation @Liv_Stargrace . Our website designers went above and beyond to capture her personality, her story, and everything that made her uniquely Liv. We waited for the perfect moment to share it. Today, on her birthday, that moment has arrived. is live. If you feel moved, please consider a donation of $16 (or any amount that feels right) in honor of the birthday she should be celebrating. Through our partnership with @TheGivingBlock , we accept credit cards, donor-advised funds, crypto, and stock. Liv was a natural giver who loved helping others—and that spirit is exactly what we will carry forward in her name. Our emergency family grant applications also open today. Every donation helps fund emergency grants for families facing the same exhausting road we did — covering things like gas for treatment trips, meals, or unexpected bills so parents can focus on their child. If you know a child in treatment at @GeisingerHealth or @CHOPCancerCntr, please share Liv’s Stargrace Foundation with them. We are deeply honored to begin supporting these families. Our goal today is to raise $1,600 in Liv’s honor. Whether that’s through gifts of $16 or any amount, will you help us reach it? If you can’t give today, simply sharing this post helps more families find the support they need. Thank you for helping us turn her memory into lasting help for others. 🩷

It's July — Liv’s birthday month. 💕 She would have been 16 this year. It’s also almost 6 months since we lost her. This month I want to share a little piece of her every day so you can catch a glimpse of how spectacular she truly was. (Though if I’m honest, it’s probably more for me — I just want the world to know how deeply I miss her and how much I wish she was still here.) I wish she was applying for her learner’s permit right now, getting ready to drive the Tesla we bought her last year. I wish we had forever to make more memories with her. This photo is from March 2020, right before COVID shut everything down. She decided to cut her hair to donate it to girls with cancer. One year later, she was diagnosed with cancer herself. To honor her happiness and joy, let’s do this together: Do one good deed each day in Liv’s memory. Pass on love and kindness — that’s exactly what she would have wanted. 🩷 #LivsBirthdayMonth#

Liv loved sharing Asteroid, watching him explore the world and make kids smile! 🫶
While we wait for Liv’s foundation website to be completed, we’ve had so many people reach out asking how they can support Liv’s foundation. This feels like a beautiful, personal way to get involved right now. ❤️ We’re starting work on Joy and Hope Boxes to deliver on her birthday in July. These boxes are filled with so much love and meaning. The Patient boxes contain items that were Liv’s absolute favorites — the little things that brought her joy during hard days. We know how much siblings like our Abby often feel left out, so the Sibling boxes are designed to make them feel seen, loved, and special too. And as a mom who spent endless nights in the hospital with Liv, I know how draining and lonely it can be — the Mom boxes are meant to bring a little comfort, love, and a moment to breathe. We’ve chosen Geisinger and CHOP because they are the two main hospitals where Liv was treated. We hope to expand to more locations in the future. Our goal is to donate: • 20 Patient boxes • 20 Sibling boxes • 20 Mom boxes …to each hospital — that’s 120 boxes total. It’s ambitious, but we’re going for it with full hearts! If you’d like to help us assemble these boxes, here’s our Amazon wishlist. Every item counts and makes a difference. We’ve filed for our 501(c)(3) status, so purchases will be tax-deductible once approved. Thank you for helping us carry forward Liv’s light by spreading joy and hope to families walking this same road. 💛🎗️

Inspiring the next generation!!
Space Camp registrations have doubled since Artemis II.
Honoring where his journey began, NASA administrator Jared Isaacman opens new Space Camp facility
Thank you to the Inspiration4 and Space Camp teams for inviting us to attend the ribbon cutting ceremony at Space Camp last night. What a great night celebrating courage, curiosity, and the next generation of explorers! Our Liv attended Space Camp in 2022 and would have absolutely loved all the incredible new activities in the I4 building. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for honoring and remembering her. It meant everything to see her spirit carried forward in this special place. ❤️

U.S. Space & Rocket Center @RocketCenterUSA in Huntsville, Alabama, home to @SpaceCampUSA. I am quite sure if I had not attended when I was 12, I would not be where I am today. And now this generation of campers will grow up in a world where outposts are operating on the Moon and someday Mars. Hard to imagine what could be more exciting or inspiring.

NASA administrator to attend ribbon cutting at Space & Rocket Center - Inspiration4 Skills Training Complex
Yes, I need to make sure SpaceX stays focused on making life multiplanetary and extending consciousness to the stars, not pandering to someone’s bullshit quarterly earnings bonus! Obviously, IF SpaceX succeeds in this absurdly difficult goal, it will be worth many orders of magnitude more than the economy of Earth, but don’t expect entirely smooth sailing along the way.

Abby signed both her name and Liv’s on my card. I’m a lucky mom to have such a wonderful daughter who will always remember her sister and knows how much that means to me. No matter what, I will always be a mom of two girls. My beautiful Abby and my forever Liv. 💕

Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there. The ones with their kids close by, the ones missing them, and especially the ones like me who are just trying to get through the day. This is my first one without Liv, and it hurts like you can’t imagine. My heart’s broken in a way I didn’t even know was possible. If you’ve lost a child too, I see you. I really do. Your love for them doesn’t go away. It’s still there, still real, even if it feels heavy today. You’re not alone in this. Sending a big hug to every mom, especially the ones smiling through tears today. 💕🫂

Thank you to the guys at X for getting my account back! ❤️
I applaud President Trump’s whole-of-government effort to bring greater transparency to the American people on unidentified anomalous phenomena. At NASA, our job is to bring the brightest minds and most advanced scientific instruments to bear, follow the data, and share what we learn. We will remain candid about what we know to be true, what we have yet to understand, and all that remains to be discovered. Exploration and the pursuit of knowledge are core to NASA’s mission as we endeavor to unlock the secrets of the universe.

Exploration is part of who we are. Back to the Moon. Building a Moon Base. Unlocking water ice. Expanding humanity’s reach into the cosmos. The future is closer than ever.

One year ago today, during a routine scan, they found Liv’s cancer had come back for the third time. It wasn’t just one spot — it was in so many places. I remember sitting there as her oncologist told me, feeling the floor drop out from under me. In that moment I knew deep down we weren’t going to beat it. But knowing didn’t mean quitting. Not for one single day. We fought like hell anyway — for every extra sunrise, every laugh, every hug that still somehow held all the love we had left. Liv, my brave girl, you never stopped fighting either. I’m so proud of you. I miss you more than words can say. 💔 We never quit. Not then. Not now. We will make sure your memory lasts forever. ❤️

I need to “mute the Met Gala” from my timeline. It’s disturbing.
