Today we're experimenting with a new way to make exploring a topic and discovering related web content easier in Discover. By tapping “Dive deeper,” you’ll see a short topic overview with prominent links to related stories, community reactions & original reporting. We’ll test this experience on videos to start, and experiment with multiple designs in the weeks ahead (example below) as we iterate to learn what works best.

We’re rolling out a few updates to Search profiles to make them more useful for publishers: 1️⃣ You can now manage multiple profiles from one Google account and easily switch between profiles 2️⃣ Articles now have even more readable layouts, optimized thumbnails and longer headlines (so your work can really shine!) 3️⃣ More publishers and creators have access to profiles, as we’ve expanded eligibility to 10k followers on a single platform across Instagram, TikTok, X or YouTube. It's great to see how much progress we've made over the last couple of months. Looking forward to keeping the momentum going!

I use Search Live all the time – very easy to talk through a quick question or brainstorm out loud. And with our latest Gemini 3.8 Live model, convos are even more natural 👇
Introducing our most advanced Gemini Audio models yet 🗣 Gemini 3.8 Live and 3.8 Live Extended Thinking let you speak, collaborate, and execute tasks seamlessly, meaning conversing with AI just got a lot more natural. So, what’s the difference between these two models? Let’s break it down: — Gemini 3.8 Live is built for scale, speed, and cost efficiency. It can handle mid-sentence interruptions, transitions across 97 languages on the fly, and understands visual context. Figure out how to fix a broken bike chain, or deal with a leaky pipe just by pointing your camera at the problem area in Search Live for step-by-step audio instructions. — Gemini 3.8 Live Extended Thinking goes one step further to bring increased intelligence to your most complex tasks. It reasons and speaks in parallel, even narrating its progress as it works. This lets it handle multi-step, behind-the-scenes projects, like planning an event, without ever losing the conversational flow. Watch how Gemini 3.8 Live combines real-time video and voice inputs in Search Live to tackle hands-on DIY plumbing tasks step by step 👇

(1/2) Just in time for back to school: the power of agentic coding has landed in Search. Anyone can now create custom tools and simulations to visualize different topics. One cool example: I asked AI Mode “make an interactive 3D fractal Mandelbulb visual I can zoom into” and it coded and rendered this visualization, right in Search & on the fly. Available globally in English (free of charge). Try it by asking AI Mode to create a simulation for whatever’s on your mind. Plus, we’ve started to roll out these interactive visuals in AI Overviews. lmk what you create!

We're now sending billions of clicks to websites every week through AI features in Search.
We’ve been continuing to improve how we show links in our AI features in Search, to make it easy for people to click to websites. One of my personal gripes (as the team knows!) is whenever I can’t easily find a link for something I want to go deeper on. As we’ve continued to iterate, we’re now sending billions of clicks to websites every week through AI features in Search alone. We’re not done with this work – we recently added the ability to connect your subscriptions and select preferred sources, and have more to come!
