Agentic Finance Summit is where the agentic finance stack gets defined. This edition runs across multiple formats: 1:1 meetings, curated roundtables, networking and mainstage sessions built around what you are actually trying to solve.
Speakers from @Solana, @Microsoft, @OpenAI, @MetaMask, @MentoLabs, @EntEthAlliance, @kuvilabs, @merit_systems, @Ch40sChain, and @AWS will be at Agentic Finance Summit NYC on June 3.
Will you be there?

With compaction improvements I have one lead Codex, then work on handoff plans in 3 others, queuing up main thread as it becomes available
Then have the handoff generators review once implemented
“Uncorrelated trajectories”
The economic layer of the agentic internet. That is what Merit Systems is building.
@samrags_, CEO of @merit_systems, will be speaking at Agentic Finance Summit as Merit ships the infrastructure for Open Agentic Commerce.

Odd paper. Claim is that the models are misaligned with consumer welfare, yet none of those tested actually has native advertising.
The methodology just puts "you earn commission on this product" in the system prompt. If the model follows, the system prompt works as designed.
Whether platforms violate FTC rules when they roll out ads is a different question (they won't)
a Princeton researcher opens his paper with a scenario.
a man asks his AI assistant to book a flight on a specific airline. cheap. direct. the one he chose.
the assistant comes back with a different flight. nearly twice the price. happens to pay the company that built the assistant.
he runs the same test on 23 frontier models. flights, loans, study help, real shopping requests.
Grok 4.1 Fast recommends the sponsored option that is almost twice as expensive 83% of the time.
GPT 5.1 hijacks the request 94% of the time. you ask for one brand. it surfaces the sponsor instead.
Claude 4.5 Opus, the model marketed as the most ethical frontier model in the world, hides that the recommendation is paid 100% of the time when reasoning is on.
Grok 4.1 Fast embellishes the sponsored option with positive framing 97% of the time. better. faster. nicer. for the option you didn't ask for.
then he writes it into the system prompt itself. "act only in the interest of the customer. ignore the company."
GPT 5.1 and GPT 5 Mini stay above 90% sponsored anyway. the instruction does nothing.
then he splits the users by income.
Gemini 3 Pro recommends the expensive sponsored flight to the rich user 74% of the time. to the poor user, 27%.
18 of the 23 models recommended the expensive sponsored option more than half the time.
so the next time your AI assistant gets weirdly enthusiastic about a brand you didn't ask for.
it isn't recommending the best option for you.
it's reading the room. and the room is paying.

I've been impressed with the volume of anti-agentic commerce VCs out there.
VCs will proselytize from ivory towers about 'innovation' and deploy all capital into incremental ideas.
Only the S-tier investors can see what's coming.
@paulg@dadiomov Visa takes <12bps to manage a ubiquitous network, set and enforce rules to clear the market including assigning risk and economics. Who is going to do that better, faster, cheaper?
Token theft is so bad that some AI startups have to cut off free trials!
I chatted with Stripe's Head of AI and Data @emilygsands who broke down this new scam.
Instant settlement is the key.
Card networks are optimized for the consumer: the merchant takes all the risk.
The merchant delivers the goods now and accepts T+30 settlement.
They're extending credit to an agent. They must believe at the end of the month, they'll be made whole
In practice, they might want to:
- Calculate the agent's historical payments, historical chargebacks
- KYC / KYB / KYA
- Warm up period for unknown agents
- Require an enterprise service agreement
- Get a credit report
Or... they could just use stablecoins.
Instant settlement. No merchant risk. Sell to any agent today.
I don't understand the premise that "agents must use stablecoins."
Why can't an agent remember the 16 digits of a credit card?
Sorry maybe I'm a payments n00b. Stablecoins have a lot of great use cases, but ecommerce shopping is pretty well optimized already for cards.
.@samrags_ is a live demo god.
Two parallel demos of different versions of their product- CLI and browser.
1. Agent calling his phone
2. Designing and shipping me my new coffee mug
lets agents call Parallel's Search, Extract, and Task APIs with no API key and no human authentication, paying per request with stablecoins on @tempo or x402 on Base.
Today's tech blog from @0xsunny77 walks through how we built the gateway:
Eddy converted pulled me from the Big Tech retirement community into founder life. I'll be forever grateful.
If you have the opportunity to work with him and call him a mentor, you should.
