Reading Kimi K3 paper, I'm struck by the number of innovations and departures from orthodoxy. These guys are doing real research and not copying. It is no longer the case of being, "mostly the Transformer with a few Noam mods".
I mean they got rid of the position encodings/embeddings! Bold!

‼️ Europe's flagship open-source Microsoft 365 rival Nextcloud's website was hacked. The company confirmed it after publicly calling it "a normal infrastructure problem." Nextcloud uses Wordpress (ring a bell? wp2shell?).
Users saw nextcloud[.]com links redirect to "Cloudbox" on Sunday evening before the site went dark. Nextcloud says only the website is affected, with no impact on updates, downloads or customers, and is restoring it from a backup.
European governments are currenlty trying to move away from M365 to Nextcloud.
