11 years ago tonight, Obama illuminated the White House with the colors of the Pride flag after the Supreme Court made marriage equality the law of the land.
Funny how the list includes companies that built EVs, reusable rockets, satellite internet, home batteries, America’s largest charging network, thousands of hours of entertainment, and hundreds of thousands of jobs.
The poorest Americans may never own these companies, but they benefit from what they build every single day. That’s generally how markets work.
One side wakes up every day trying to build products people voluntarily pay for.

if there’s no marketplace for customers (parents of students) to demand value (quality of education for price paid) by simply going to another service provider (school or educator), it is inevitable that costs will go up and quality will go down.
this is true of any service provided by government, which effectively grants itself a monopoly, deleting the opportunity for other service providers to compete in offering better value to customers/citizens…
