Why the Position Yield Panel Changed the Way I Hold Trades on @StandX_Official When I first started trading on StandX, the Position Yield number was just another figure on the screen. I was mainly focused on entry price, leverage, unrealized PnL, and risk management. After using the platform consistently, I realized this small panel had become one of the first things I check whenever I open a position. Unlike PnL, which constantly changes with market volatility, Position Yield grows quietly while an eligible position remains open. It doesn't determine whether a trade is profitable, but it reminds me that my margin is still generating additional value instead of sitting idle. Looking at my own Position Yield History, I have accumulated 4.28 DUSD so far. The rewards were generated across different positions, including BTC-USD and SPCX-USD. Most daily rewards are relatively small—around 0.03 to 0.08 DUSD—but they are earned consistently while I keep eligible positions open. That may not sound like a huge number, but that's exactly why I like this feature. It isn't marketed as a shortcut to making money. Instead, it quietly improves capital efficiency in the background without changing my trading strategy. One recent example was my SPCX-USD trade, where I closed the position with a 96.11% ROI. The trade itself was successful because of my market analysis and execution, not because of Position Yield. However, throughout the holding period, the Position Yield continued to accumulate. Instead of having idle collateral while waiting for my target, the margin was still working. This is how I personally use the Position Yield panel during trading: Before opening a position, I focus on technical analysis, market structure, and risk management. After the trade is live, I mainly monitor PnL and liquidation risk, but I also keep an eye on Position Yield. If the market is moving sideways and my original trade thesis hasn't changed, seeing Position Yield continue to increase gives me one more reason not to close the trade too early. Of course, I never let Position Yield override risk management. If my stop-loss is hit or my setup becomes invalid, I will exit immediately. The feature is a bonus, not an excuse to hold losing positions. What I appreciate most is the transparency of the Position Yield History. I can see exactly when rewards were credited and how much each position generated. Everything is recorded instead of being hidden behind estimated APY numbers. There are still a few improvements I would love to see in future updates: A cumulative Position Yield chart over time. Yield statistics for each individual trade. Filters by trading pair and date range. Export functionality for personal trading journals. These additions would make the panel even more useful for traders who regularly review their performance. Overall, the Position Yield Panel has become one of my favorite features on StandX—not because it creates large profits, but because it makes idle margin productive while I trade. My profits still come from good entries, disciplined exits, and proper risk management. Position Yield simply makes every eligible trade a little more capital-efficient. For me, that's exactly what a useful trading feature should do: work quietly in the background without changing the fundamentals of how I trade. #standx_gallery#
