Insane how good AI is at this point. The average AI response already far surpasses the response an average trader would give. Dozen totally feasible ideas to look into w one simple query.

AUTOMATING YOUR RISK RULES! If I had to pick some of the lowest hanging fruit for traders nowadays, itโ€™s using AI to create safeguards and automations to better control your risk. This could mean automating sizing calculations, automating how many tickers youโ€™re allowed to trade, or how much youโ€™re allowed to lose on a position or on the day or week or month. I know not all brokers allow you to set daily loss limits. But with AI and automation, anything is now on the table. If you havenโ€™t done any of this, take the time to define your rules and look into ways to protect yourself. It could even be wildly creative! If your account value dips below a level, all positions are liquidated and youโ€™re locked out of your account. Or your wife or trading buddy is emailed to lock you out and demand a post mortem review! My buddy @apaley of @riftapp did an awesome video on some creative ways you can do this:

Intelligence is only useful to a point in trading. Often the most intelligent traders are the ones that blow-up. Look at Long Term Capital Management for one of the greatest case studies of this ever.

Always rely on data over your intuition. Especially for beginners our intuition can deceive us. We remember the winners, often forget the losers.
Itโ€™s right to wonder why I bother w the exposรฉ videos. I try to be an authentic trusted voice in the industry so that people can know whatโ€™s real and whatโ€™s bs. On the other side of every furu, there is a good-hearted person that is consuming the information and being harmed by it. After every exposรฉ video, I get dozens of emails from people that had no idea the info they were consuming was BS. Thousands of people waste years of time and money bc itโ€™s so hard to tell real from fake in this industry. Follower size can be confused with credibility. Lambos and flaunting material wealth means success, right?? Especially beginners donโ€™t know that ICT was caught photoshopping his PNL or that PW self-admits that he was caught paper trading, deceived others, and considers himself an โ€œentertainerโ€ rather than real trader. They follow these people and get harmed by it. Affiliate link incentives in the funded trader space incentivizes poor transparency and cherry-picked payouts. As always - consumer beware. DYOD. And be careful out there!

Tbf - this is a great honest video by @Patrickwieland. But also to be clear: 1. I do NOT debate the fact that many of these influencers do receive real payouts. 2. I do argue itโ€™s impossible to gauge net profitability bc most donโ€™t disclose failed assessments, costs, or incentives. 3. If youโ€™re just watching for entertainment and fun, go at it! God bless! 4. As I state in the video, I truly donโ€™t know nor have a view whether PW is net profitable after assessment costs or not. But do beware that many funded trader influencers are only showing you the highlight reel from their payouts.

Boy do I have a great YouTube video coming for you all tomorrow! A discussion of all the broken incentives caused by social media and how your favorite trading guru misleads you. Brought to you by the Jim Cramer of the funded trader space! Who wants to take a guess!?

I know Iโ€™m a week late, but I often donโ€™t know what to say about this stuff and try to stick to trading. But 9/11 really was such a visceral experience for anyone living around NYC. This story from @lmaschler is incredible. Just watch it. It transports me right back. I remember being in school. No true grasp of what was occurring, no cell phones. Parents were running in crying to pick up their kids and a friendโ€™s mom told me that my dad was alive. It didnโ€™t even hit me that he might not be. Other kids in my school werenโ€™t so lucky. What a defining moment in our collective memories. Just like Covid lockdowns. A crazy full-circle part of this story: Lee and Trillium took on a handful of traders displaced by 9/11. One of those traders went on to become their #1#. That trader trained me and made me the trader I am today.

For those that are behind and need a quick primer on perps and where more of the trading seems to be headed towards, great video by my buddy @apaley of @riftapp!
No position, but you do gota start to wonder whether a lower high has been put in to some of these memory names. Assuming no news, lot of sectors and names still need consolidation. Eye on oil and rates though.
