I think a lot of projects and teams underestimate the opportunities bear markets can bring.
Moonpay spent a relatively small amount of money on this airdrop, yet managed to grab a ton of mindshare.
The same applies to pretty much everything on CT right now, airdrops, partnerships, product launches etc.
During bull markets, everything is a) expensive and b) crowded, meaning you have to spend a lot of money to capture even a little bit of mindshare.
Bear markets are the opposite
People who made it in previous cycles usually aren't the best people to listen to, because every cycle has a different playbook and requires a different skill set.
Building generational wealth through NFTs in 2021 looked very different from doing it with memecoins in 2024 or InfoFi in 2025.
And it will look different again from whatever 2026 or 2027 brings.
The best strategy is to find the leaders of the current cycle and meta, not the previous one
In hindsight people really did InfoFi dirty.
Random five- to six-figure airdrops with transparent leaderboards, you basically knew that if you lock in you can farm good rewards.
Nowadays that's gone and the same people that criticized InfoFi are tweeting about the Ansem coin for a fraction of (not even guaranteed) rewards.
Towards the late stage of InfoFi the platforms fumbled and the projects themselves got worse but the few good drops (Berachain, Anime, most recently Solstice) made it all worth it imo
MegaETH Terminal rewards next week.
Very unfortunate that they didn't respond to the questions surrounding the last weekly points distribution, which was very disappointing.
$MEGA is up today, still far from ICO price tho
This week will show it too.
An airdrop is coming that could be huge for a lot of people.
And for some of them, it will be their first big win in crypto.
If you stay in the CT game long enough, at some point it's your turn. I really believe in that
Never lose your dignity chasing an airdrop, a partnership, or a WL spot.
The amount of glazing I sometimes see for absolutely mid opportunities is painful to watch
Mfers are on the timeline laughing at people who stand in line for the AP x Swatch collab.
Then in their next tweets they're glazing some random founder just to get a WL spot for an NFT they'll flip after mint for a $5 USD profit.
We really fell off
