First impressions of my Matic: It's much quieter than I expected, I set a schedule for it to run at 2:30am and it's not intrusive. It's powerful, my Dreame ran the day it came, I ran the Matic and it picked up a lot of hair and debris the Dreame missed. The app is fantastic, clean, and easy to use. Live Activities show me real-time status when I'm not using the app and it connects locally over WiFi which is great. Voice control with Matic Cues is unreal, feels like the future. I tell it to follow me and it does, then I point and say "hey matic clean this" and it cleans where I point. Worked every time I tested it (including a kitchen mishap last night 😅). Navigation is very impressive, it navigates around my furniture with thin and complex geometry without issue, has yet to hit anything and does not get lost. The wheels are large and it can get over uneven floors easily, my Dreame struggles with this in my apartment and has gotten stuck multiple times. It has a HEPA bag so it cleans the air, especially important here in Denver with the bad air quality we are experiencing. It seems to be much more efficient with water usage over my Dreame and it is able to actively clean the mop while sucking up dirty water, keeping the floor super clean. If it runs out of water it will go and wait in front of the sink to be refilled with Sink Summon, super cool! I have many more positive thoughts but this is getting long 😅 A few downsides: It does not have a large dock so everything is stored inside the robot. I understand the design decision and agree with it, large docks are noisy and take up more space, but this causes the robot to be too tall to go under my couch or bed. Adding on to that, it stores the dirty water and debris in a single bag which works well as it turns liquid to gel, but I wish I bought mine through a referral so I could have got 1 year of bags included as they will get full fast! Mopping and vacuuming performance is great, but it does not mop edges as well as it could (and it can't extend the mop out to reach farther like my L40 Ultra), this can 100% be improved with updates and I know the amazing team at Matic will continue to improve this product with software updates (they usually release an update every week). It's honestly pretty hard to find negative things about this robot. It has a cute design, performs well, has amazing tech and privacy with a fantastic team behind it. It's only been a day so I will continue to write my thoughts as they come. Being in college, my apartment gets pretty dirty when I have the boys over so it will be doing a lot of cleaning. Great work @mehul and the entire @maticrobots team, you guys rule!
