I want to take a moment today to more thoroughly publicly address the elephant in the room with @Joule14 after @damnang2’s departure over the weekend — Over the past few years I have completely dedicated myself to studying the AI industry and learning about the people and technologies involved I have built a great personal following, and developed close relationships with many incredible people over that time who I’m honored to call my friends, if you’re reading this there’s a good chance you’re one of them Joule14 was always meant to be the next step in that evolution for me, to go to the next step in terms of seriousness of involvement in this industry And from that perspective, nothing’s changed I don’t feel it’s right to pretend that it’s “business as usual” with Joule14 after such a big change with the founding team, so I wanted to address it properly in this way - like I mentioned in my original post, I still support Damnang But… I was the person who founded the company, it was my vision to bring it to life and it represents my next steps not just from a professional perspective, but in my life as a whole My involvement with this industry and many of you here on X has gone much deeper than “a job” or some work. This truly has changed and become my life and my life’s work Soon @Joule14 will put out its first article on Substack which I have been working hard on.
