For all the things that divide us, grief is a universal language and a defining part of the human experience. At some point, every one of us will love someone we have to say an earthly goodbye to. I am still learning how to walk through each day carrying the grief I feel for my Charlie. Some days I have a vague understanding of God’s plan, others I don’t, but I trust Him completely. He is my only strength. I also know grief can be lonely, and sometimes hearing someone else put words to it makes us feel a little less alone. I wrote this for anyone who has lost someone they love, anyone sitting in grief now, and anyone who someday will. Suffering does not get the final word. Only God does. My reflections on grief, one year later:

I’m currently traveling in Southeast Asia, but I wanted to take a moment to mark #InternationalGayMensDay# on Sept. 6. Having lived in the U.S. and now living in England, I reap the benefits of a tolerant society that protects sexual orientation in the law. But tolerance cannot be exploited as some mandate for radical political agendas that seek to dismantle all norms, institutions and safeguards. Breaking: Oregon teen who devised an intricate terror plot to behead and bomb ICE agents at the Portland ICE facility was given a sweetheart plea deal. Rayden Tanner Coleman, 19, has been sentenced to just three years of supervised probation. Coleman was initially charged with 15 counts of serious offenses, including domestic terrorism. He pleaded guilty to two counts of unlawful manufacture of a destructive device. Coleman’s terror plot included following agents home, severing their heads, and taking them as trophies. Investigators found him in possession of Molotov cocktails, surveillance equipment, tactical axes, military knives, and shovels.

DECLASSIFIED: FBI document on Chinese election interference: “The Chinese government had produced a large amount of fraudulent United States drivers licenses that were secretly exported to the United States. The fraudulent drivers licenses would allow tens of thousands of Chinese students and immigrants sympathetic to the Chinese Communist Party to vote for US Presidential Candidate USPER Joe ( (Biden))”

JUST IN: A federal judge has ordered the embassy fencing to be removed outside the Federal Building in Eugene, Oregon. The fencing was recently installed in response to ongoing violent riots carried out by Antifa and aligned anarchist groups since June 2025. Rioters shattered windows and breached the facility earlier this year, prompting FBI manhunts.
