I remember my eldest (19) coming home from nursery and telling me about her new best friend. I heard about her lovely dress, how funny she was, that she'd made her laugh,what theyd done all day. The town was 99.9% white cornish at the time. It didnt cross my mind that this little girl was anything other than cornish. It was about 2 months before I met this best friend. Never, in all that time, had my daughter mentioned she was black, she just loved her. The only black kid in the nursery, yet NONE of the children neither noticed or cared. In less than 2 decades we've gone from Sesame Street levels of treating people with kindness and as equals, to pitting our children against each other. Shame on all the parents and teachers that have removed innocence from children.

The trouble wirh Alex arguments is that it always immediately spirals to the extreme, wirh connotations of hate and violence. The indigenous British people, as well as 3rd and 4th gen post war migrants, just want a country where they're not working 50 hours a week to pay for foreign born indigenous criminals. Poor people in working class towns want to be able to get work and housing and not have to compete with thousands of foreign born staff, they want their little girls to be able to go to the park without being accosted for sex. There is middle ground. Just like there was with the trans debate - pointing out a man in a dress is a man in a dress, never meant they wanted trans genocide or anyone dead, but, changing thier birth certificate or passport, didnt magically make them a non predatory female either. And she knows this. Words matter. And someone who's a "proud Nigerian", even if born here, would be celebrated, but saying you're a "proud Englishman" seems to invoke mouth frothing levels of hysteria. Like with trans, women have been forced to start producing evidence of crime, in order to justify their position, and thats what now happening to British people - they're now having to produce crime statistics to justify why they dont want their lives to change from what they were.

Running this page has opened my eyes to how many racists who hate white people we have living amongst us. It’s disgusting. I see on a daily basis, people in the comments banging on about slavery and colonialism. They don’t realise the luckiest day of their lives was being born in a western democracy. They have lived a life of privilege but like to be a victim. They are angry with white people moving into black countries hundreds of years ago. But perfectly fine with black people moving to white countries in the present day. They call it immigration when it’s them. They are in support of people being able to live wherever they want. Just not when it’s white people. That’s colonialism and it’s evil. They don’t realise they are everything that they hate the colonisers for. They take all the benefits of being here. But still hate us for it. They use history and things that didn’t happen to them as a scapegoat to be openly hateful towards us. In their own mind it justifies their racism so they can still hold the self righteous belief they are a good person. But when I see people like this. It restores my faith in immigration. It’s good to know that this can sometimes be the outcome. Not everyone is selfish and only care about their own race. There are plenty of people who care about us too. Plenty of people see it for what it is and stand by our side and I have nothing but respect for them. I wish everyone was like that. Thank you to this man for speaking out for us and showing common sense. Because when we say this, they call is far right racists and fascists. But in reality we are only human just like anyone else. Only we are taught to just accept this and eat shit and be happy. It’s double standards and this man is bang on it 👏👏

This is very very true. What "right leaning" arts industries have been created? Comedy clubs, film and TV production, dramas, thrillers, radio... It amazes me that @GBNEWS with friends like @Glinner @andrewdoyle_com and all the other hilarious people they know, haven't invested in creating a sit com, or docudrama or something.
