I love privacy-preserving off-ramps like Tando, Tapnob, Bitspenda and others simply because I can tip someone without them knowing my name. Privacy is key.
A guy jokingly tweeted “olaf scholz you bastard what the hell is this” in frustration because Fortnite was stuck at 3% download. As a result, German authorities investigated him for committing a criminal offence (insulting a politician, §188 StGB) and forced him to delete it.

"AI is hiking your energy bill" is the most popular political talking point of 2026. The data doesn't support it. A thread:

@LynAldenContact I loved your book! I hope it becomes a movie one day. I want to spend more time in the world that you created. Reminds me of how I felt about Harry Potter.
What a great read, @LynAldenContact especially for a first effort. Well done.
Amazon’s summary of my sci fi novel:

Latest from @darioperkins The wage share is the ratio of wage income to nominal GDP. Its evolution depends on the link between productivity and wages. When workers can capture the benefits of faster productivity, the wage share will rise. If, on the other hand...

It reflects the philosophy behind each bending style. The martial arts inspirations for the four elements are completely different, and their hand positions show that. Fire bending uses strong, explosive, direct movements inspired by Northern Shaolin. Closed fists represent aggression, power, and force being projected outward. Firebenders attack head on and generate energy from within. Earth bending is based on Hung Gar, which emphasizes rooted stances and solid impact. Earthbenders clench their fists because their style is about firmness, resistance, and overwhelming force. They meet attacks instead of avoiding them. Water bending comes from Tai Chi, which focuses on flow, redirection, and fluidity. Open palms allow smooth circular motions to guide energy instead of stopping it. Waterbenders adapt rather than overpower. Air bending is inspired by Ba Gua Zhang, a style built around evasion, spirals, and constant movement. Open hands symbolize freedom and non-aggression. Airbenders prefer deflecting and dodging over striking directly. So visually: Closed fists = force, control, confrontation. Open hands = flow, redirection, freedom. It’s also a subtle personality reflection of the nations themselves: Fire and Earth are more rigid and assertive. Water and Air are more adaptive and spiritual.

A reminder -- whenever the MoF sells dollar it bought for 80 yen for 155-160 yen, it books a massive profit and reduces Japan's gross debt significantly ... "spending reserves" is a common frame for intervention, but it misses something in Japan's case ...

BREAKING: The new Fed Chair just signaled a major shift. Kevin Warsh says QE is fueling inflation. The Fed's massive balance sheet is part of the problem. "The Fed should exit markets outside of crises." This is not Powell talking. This is a completely different philosophy. Powell printed. Warsh wants to stop. Powell expanded the balance sheet. Warsh wants to shrink it. $6,700,000,000,000 in Fed assets. Warsh just told you that number needs to come down. - Less liquidity. - Higher rates for longer. - Risk assets reprice. The market has been betting on easy money. The new Fed Chair just bet against it. Everything changes on today.

RE: SPX at ATH while Consumer Sentiment at ATL (per great cht from @charliebilello, bottom): If you price SPX in gold (red, LS) & then chart it v. Consumer Sentiment (blue, RS), the reason for the divergence b/t Wall St & Main St becomes clear: It's a currency/inflation issue.
