Matic has 5 cameras. Why not LiDAR like every other vacuum? LiDAR fires lasers to detect that something is there. But it can't tell a wall from a toy from a cable. So the vacuum gets stuck, shreds rugs, and needs babysitting. Cameras let Matic actually see like a human.

hey @EufyOfficial and @AnkerOfficial? are you so afraid of a tiny @maticrobots startup that you literally have to copy our name in the product? have you no shame? this is so low... lol. i guess we've made it when competitors show their true colors and become shameless in confusing customers... lol

There's a classic problem in robotics called the kidnapped robot problem. Pick a robot up, carry it somewhere else, put it down, and see whether it can work out where it ended up. @mehul covered all five cameras on @maticrobots and tried it out.
