Most bearish China tweet I've read in a while
Pretty much everyone I know in Silicon Valley assumes that AI is a "human remover".
So far, zero of the people I know in Silicon Valley have been right about AI's effect on jobs.
Essentially all of the anti-Western leftist tropes were true about the British East India Company's colonization of India in the 1700s. I wonder how much that episode stuck in our collective memory and later mutated into stuff like Chomskyism.
