Crypto-native companies deploy their own EVM ecosystems for the same reasons large financial institutions want control over their validator set. Privacy, governance, and fee control aren't a TradFi-only requirement. @Wesarn_real discusses with @Santiag78758327 on @RealVision.

Canton has generated more fees than any other chain this past month. In the past 30 days, @CantonNetwork $CC has generated $53.66 million in network fees. This outpaced every other L1 and L2 blockchain, including other contenders such as @HyperliquidX ($47.14M) and @trondao $TRX ($27.12M).

In my view, what #Flare# is building represents another step toward the Internet of Value. With FXRP, an XRP holder will be able to use the value of their asset as programmable collateral to borrow RLUSD. Access to credit no longer has to depend entirely on a financial profile, reputation, or human approval, but on value that is verifiable, auditable, and executable on-chain. This is how I envision the Internet of Value, and how I explain it in my book through detailed explanations and, above all, concrete examples: any asset (tokens, debt, real estate, or RWAs) can become programmable value that can be mobilized almost instantly. XLS-66 remains useful, but it is closer to conventional lending running on blockchain rails, since an off-chain loan broker still evaluates the borrower. Both models are complementary, but Flare pushes the concept further toward open, programmable finance built directly around the value of assets. $FLR $XRP

The economics are hard to argue with. When a model delivers strong and in many agentic/coding workloads competitive performance at a fraction of the price with dramatically better cache behavior and speed, high-volume usage shifts. We are already seeing this in the data: Chinese open-weight models (DeepSeek, Qwen, Xiaomi MiMo and others) now account for the majority of token volume on major neutral routers, around 60%+ versus US models in recent measurements, driven exactly by the cost and accessibility advantages highlighted here. This looks a lot like the Android story. Android never needed to win every premium benchmark or every enterprise RFP the way iOS did; it won by being open, cheap enough for the mass market, and good enough for the vast majority of real workloads. The result has been a durable ~70% global share. Chinese open-source models are following a similar path in the LLM space: flooding the open/inference layer where volume and price sensitivity dominate. 70-80% of the overall market is an aggressive but plausible ceiling for the open/commodity tier over the next couple of years if the current trajectory continues. Frontier closed models (Claude, GPT, Gemini) will keep the high-value, high-trust, multimodal, and heavily regulated slices, much like iOS keeps the high-margin end. But for the bulk of tokens processed in the world, the Android parallel is increasingly the right mental model. Cost and openness are winning the volume war.

DeepSeekโ€™s bar on that Bloomberg chart is so flat it looks like a rounding error. Chinese labs are shipping frontier-level models at prices that make GPT-5.6 and Claude look like luxury goods. This isnโ€™t just competition, itโ€™s a full-on price war thatโ€™s turning the API market into a death zone for anyone still charging Western rates.

the loudest voices in ai spent two years lobbying to ban the best chips from china. they got exactly what they asked for, and it built china a second ai industry from scratch. huawei's atlas 950 is the receipt. an exaflop of fp8 on 256tb of unified memory, all ascend silicon, because you told them they couldn't buy nvidia. eighteen months, start to finish. and the models ship open regardless, kimi k3, qwen, deepseek, all downloadable. dario was loudest who wrote the essays that shaped that ban. his company ships zero open weights, just paid $1.5 billion to settle training claude on half a million pirated books, and files to ipo in october near $965 billion. i'm not alleging a motive, i'm telling you to look at the calendar. the man who lobbied hardest to lock down compute runs the lab that profits most when open competition can't keep up.

This is something we have been working towards for a while. A lending market for RLUSD collateralised by FXRP, curated by one of the most trusted institutional curators in the industry @SentoraHQ. This opens the door for much larger FXRP lending markets and for institutions that holds Billions of XRP to participate. Good for XRP. Good for RLUSD. Good for Flare.

Where are all the people saying AI isn't bringing in any ROI (save this). Cloud revenue growth across Amazon, Google, and Microsoft actually accelerated to 48% year over-year in Q2 2026, up from 39% the quarter before, and well above the 24-33% range these companies were running through 2024 and 2025. That's the opposite of what should happen in a mature, trillion-dollar business, where growth typically slows as the revenue base gets bigger. The second chart makes the case even harder to argue against. Consensus forward two year revenue estimates for Amazon, Google, Meta, and Microsoft combined have climbed from around $1.6 trillion in 2024 to roughly $2.5 trillion now, with the CAGR versus trailing 12-month revenue rising from about 11% to nearly 18%. Actual Q2 2026 results back this up directly. AWS posted $42.2 billion in revenue, up 37% and its fastest growth in 18 quarters, at a 36.8% operating margin, while Google Cloud grew 82% to $24.8 billion with operating income more than tripling and margin expanding from 20.7% to 35.6% in a single year. Azure crossed $100 billion in annualized revenue with 43% constant-currency growth. Now, the skeptics aren't wrong that there's a real gap to watch. PIMCO notes capex will consume roughly 94% of hyperscaler operating cash flow over the next two years, up from 40% in 2023, yet Fidelity points out the capex to free-cash-flow ratio for the broader market sits below 1 today versus nearly 4x at the 2000 dotcom peak, meaning this cycle is still being funded by real earnings, not debt-fueled speculation. That's the real distinction because the infrastructure itself, cloud compute, storage, and AI services, is converting into accelerating revenue and expanding margins right now, even while the broader question of enterprise wide AI monetization remains an open debate. The ROI skeptics are conflating those two very different things, and the earnings data increasingly says the infrastructure layer has already proven its case. And Oracle is set up to be one of the biggest winners of this entire dynamic once its own numbers catch up. Oracle's remaining performance obligations already sit at $638 billion, up 363% year over year, meaning the demand and contracts are already locked in even before the revenue shows up on the income statement. Once Oracle's data centers ramp to full contractual revenue the same way AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud just did, the same margin expansion story that's silencing ROI skeptics today should play out at Oracle next, just on a delayed timeline. Milk Road is tracking each one of the these and if you want to see the exact trades we are making around this, you can come join us using the link below for just a dollar.
