A solution which Saudi, Kuwait and Iraq should explore, is to pipe out their oil to Ras Markaz, Oman; which faces the Arabian Sea. It is a relatively new oil terminal and for a country that may run out of oil in just 13 years, Oman would probably be happy to see transit revenue.

Saudi Arabia began seesawing its crude oil exports back east before the Petroline was even hit. They got TWICE AS MUCH (2Mbpd would have been plenty enough for refining) amount of crude flowing through the Petroline pipelines within a little over a week, and likely a sufficient amount sooner than that. ARAMCO has 24/365 access to spare parts for every single little piece of infrastructure.

So how the hell is everyone else's oil getting out? An entire “Arab dark fleet” has emerged: more than 100 tankers operating largely without AIS, shuttling oil from Gulf ports into the Gulf of Oman. There, they transfer their cargo at sea to other tankers unwilling to risk entering Hormuz themselves. And the money being made is INSANE!! A tanker that might previously have cost around $50,000 a day to charter can now command roughly $1.25 MILLION A DAY. Meanwhile, Samir says satellite imagery shows essentially no major Iranian crude loading activity at Kharg Island. Before the war, Iran was exporting around 1.6 million barrels of crude per day. Today, Samir says Iran can still move smaller quantities of refined products and LPG through alternative routes. But the crude? “There’s nothing happening right now in Iran. It’s just flat.” That leaves us with one of the strangest realities of the Hormuz war: Iran can threaten the world's most important oil chokepoint. But right now, the oil still flowing through it largely belongs to everyone else.

The numbers have doubled in less than a month. The total crude oil egress via the USN-BL is now 13 Mbpd, with estimated SoH transits at 10.35 Mbpd given that Fujairah and Mina al-Fahal together account for around 2.65 Mbpd on average. This is partly attributed to Saudi Arabia having to swing back its exports eastwards due to pipeline disruption, but also due to daytime transits via the SoH under additional CENTCOM protection.

Of the 8 million barrels of diesel traded globally by sea each day, the U.S. supplies about 1.5 million of them — about 20%. An export ban would remove the single largest source of global diesel from the market, and the consequences could be catastrophic.

SAUDI OIL PIPELINE COULD RESTART WITHIN DAYS Saudi Arabia’s critical East-West Pipeline could resume crude flows within days, according to U.S. Energy Secretary Chris Wright. The pipeline had been moving 4–5 million barrels per day, roughly 4–5% of global supply, before attacks forced its shutdown. Market angle: a rapid restart could ease supply fears and remove some of the geopolitical risk premium supporting oil prices.

Yes, and from our observations, they have 5 busy days a week. 10 Mbpd over a 7 day period works out to 14 Mbpd over 5 days. This number is now rising due to recent daytime transits. When Sec. Wright says "oil", he usually means both crude oil and refined products.
