I’ll always be an advocate for grieving and healing, because there is nothing weak about allowing yourself to process pain. What you refuse to grieve today may show up in the way you love, trust and relate with people tomorrow. You need to stop pretending like you’re okay, sit with the pain, cry about it, talk about it and let yourself grieve. Today is another day to go in search of a job. One of the things I have got to understand is that as a new graduate, you need to work for people and learn how things work so you know the in and out of it. As a person who’s trying to venture into digital marketing, I know I need the practical experience. I don’t want to just sit down and learn everything from the internet without actually experiencing how things are done in a real working environment. I want to learn, I want to gain experience, I want to understand how businesses operate, how brands market their products, how content is created and how customers are reached online. I know I still have a lot to learn, and I am willing to start from somewhere. That is why I am out again today, searching and asking around for opportunities. I am a recent graduate who is yet to go for NYSC, and I am open to internship opportunities, entry level jobs or any place where I can learn and contribute at the same time. I studied Film and Multimedia Studies, I am a fashion designer, and I am also interested in digital marketing, content creation and social media management. I may not have all the experience yet, but I am willing to learn, put in the work and grow. Sometimes, getting the first opportunity is the hardest part, but I believe once I get that opportunity, I will make the most of it. So, today, we go again. One step at a time.

Kindness costs nothing, but it can mean everything to someone who is having a difficult day. Be gentle with people.
