I've been in the collectibles space for a long time, and it's clear there’s still so much room for growth. When I think about what I want to own for the next 10, 20, 30 years, Pokémon cards top that list. And this Charizard is the purest expression of my belief in this community. First Edition, Shadowless, Base Set, Gem Mint 10, clean 6 cert. There's no better version of the thing I wanted as a kid. There aren’t many things I could spend money on that I'm confident I’d still love in 2050, but this is one of them. Recently, I’ve been struggling. I have a vision for where I want myself and my family to be, financially. And I think in that financial pursuit, it’s easy to lose sight of the impact of my familial duties. Today, Amara struggled at Jiu Jitsu. She was unmotivated and irritable. I didn’t gas her up and tell her she did well, because quite frankly, she didn’t lol But I told her she could try again tomorrow, that she has to still be kind to herself and that getting better/stronger means that she’s going to have to push herself to do difficult shit. In keeping myself accountable and showing Amara that I can chase and achieve a dream, I like to believe I’m instilling in her the confidence to do the same.
