What struck me about this photo is that Trump and Xi invited to their dinner table: an immigrant from South Africa, two Taiwanese immigrants that came to the US as children, and a gay kid from Alabama, all of whom moved to Silicon Valley to make a dent in the universe.

Loved Anthropic’s new Fiction and the Future event put on by @jackclarkSF with novelist Robin Sloan. We live in the weirdest time, and fiction can help us understand it. I’m so amused by the fact that everything we say about the future is, in a very real sense going into the next model. Writing about a wonderful future is pre-training for our future, which can be wonderful. So is writing about a lame future. And so is writing about a scary future. Use this information wisely: the stories we tell about the models quite literally go into the next models.

Must watch - esp the last bit about radiology. Jensen talks about new jobs created wherever "there exists a backlog of aspiration or ambition." Selling magic into segments with such backlogs is a whole new motion. This is such a good breakdown of our moment in tech history.

I don't understand the premise that "agents must use stablecoins." Why can't an agent remember the 16 digits of a credit card? Sorry maybe I'm a payments n00b. Stablecoins have a lot of great use cases, but ecommerce shopping is pretty well optimized already for cards.
