Last week: 62,812 private transactions.
The only weeks that have cleared more are the three from the summer-2022 blow-off:

Zcash labs sponsored the Dallas event where Joe Allen and Lonsdsle debated. They handed out some $ZEC to attendees. Not bad. Obviously I’m not shilling crypto here. Just reporting the facts.
I found a version of zcash:native which:
- broadcasts your entire transaction history to the whole world
- is not quantum secure and has no credible path to be
- has no real plans to scale the chain to support global usage
Oh and it trades at ~60x the market cap of Zcash.

Shielded ZEC support for Ledger hardware wallets is now live on Vizor desktop and mobile.
Announcing our funding agreement with @Ledger.
The agreement supports the work required to integrate the new Zcash Ironwood pool into Ledger devices.
As a result of this agreement, Zcash coin holders will be able to use their ledger devices to self-custody their Zcash in the latest Ironwood pool.
We are committing USD 80,000 toward this integration and are excited about the impact this will create for the Zcash coin holders.

The zcash coin holder vote results are in!
Record high participation levels, 2.4M zec voted, and for context the pool had 3.6M zec at snapshot height. Record high (66%) levels of participation!
