You have to realize that although this is tragic and a huge (the biggest?) incident... Major players worked together very fast to freeze as much as possible. Also user funds are safe it seems although I wouldn't count on it until funds are actually assigned to your account again. Just like the grave dancing with Ledger led people to use exchanges, the new grave dancers are now pushing for self custody again at all costs. The ironic situation is that people will for sure lose even more funds while withdrawing into self custody later at some point because they've never done it before. Be VERY sure you know for a fact that self custody and being responsible for your own funds is something YOU can stomach over the coming years. Also make sure that you understand what happens the moment you make a mistake. There are always pro's and con's to every custody solution. Diversification is key and what to do heavily depends on YOUR current life situation. No one except you can decide what to do and please, don't change wallets and exchanges solely based on panic but thorough research instead. The industry will grow with this and stand up like it always does.
