Jacob is amongst the best product and innovation minds in crypto. Before this, he was CEO of Zora. He built multiple beautiful products (I was one of the first users of the first version in 2020). Now he's got the PMF and distribution of Polymarket. I'm so excited to work with him. We'll be hosting a Polymarket DeFi town hall soon to hear from our longtime users and lay out the plan to make the Polymarket DeFi product the best it’s ever been. DoorDash is known as one of the most operationally excellent businesses, and that's the rigor Collin's bringing to Polymarket. I stress tested Polymarket's freshly upgraded** order system with a 400k market trade on No for a US invasion of Iran. Order went through quicker than before, and no part of it failed^^. We're officially BACK, I think. And good luck to me on that position lol. I think this should be 15%, not 33%. **Polymarket migrated all of the USDC to their own stablecoin pUSD a few days ago, and upgraded their matching engine/order books at the same time (and added fees). The cool part is you can see exactly the tokenholder metrics at any given time -- -- currently 330 million minted tokens, each worth $1, with nearly 400,000 funded users. ^^Polymarket had been dealing with spoofed orders for a little while now, getting worse in the past few months. If you saw, for instance, a 50k order in some random market, and you tired to match it, often the villain races you to cancel that order on-chain before the tx fully completes. As you can imagine, this was a pernicious exploit that drove people insane. But it's now fixed!

The release everyone was waiting for is now live. Ghost fills dropped from a peak of 30% to 0.17% with the rollout, and will continue trending toward 0% throughout the day. We know this issue was hurting everyone's experience and we're truly sorry for that but it should now be night and day. This was a significant core protocol change and we're incredibly proud of the whole team for executing it. We'll keep improving our systems, step by step, until we're the best exchange in the world.
