Exactly as I explained it. They are not prevented from covering the WH. They just don’t get space to work from in the WH. That space is limited. Not everyone gets space. They’ve lost their “favored” status.

Also, for confusion sake, this is not going to be subject to the Supreme Court's stay. The Eighth Circuit remands with order to dissolve the TRO and enter a permanent injunction. This is like what the First Circuit does. It stayed its own opinion for 7 days. Then, Missouri First!

Congress needs to prohibit state regulation of policies.
Among many huge fails, the Republicans made a disastrous error in declining to make any major reforms in medical insurance. They should have: 1) allowed broad employee opt outs, 2) universalized HSAs, 3) permitted REALY catastrophic-only plans, 4) permitted premiums to adjust down for lower individual risk, and 5) broken the provider cartels.

You might say it is a response to the collusive behavior of the District Judges in Minnesota who were so filled with self-pride they told the NYT how they were committed to frustrating the Executive Branch’s policy decisions.
There will certainly be time for those subject to removal orders to file a habeas action for release - just not in a district they might select if given a choice.

ERO officer confirmed this morning that people who are subject to final orders or reinstatements will not be trackable in the ICE detainee locator and that the only way for attorneys to track the location of their clients will be by calling/emailing ERO. For anyone without an attorney, basically they are in a black hole and cut out of all contact with outside help.
This is definitely a retaliatory response to the habeas litigation filed for people in these categories which ERO is, of course, firuous about.

Homeland Investigations, which includes ICE, has 7000 armed Special Agents who enforce both Title 18 and Title 8.
Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) has 14,000 who do only non-criminal enforcement.
Border Patrol has 21,500 Officers deployed nationwide who guard the territory between Ports of Entry.
Customs and Border Protection are only at Ports of Entry - airports, harbors, and border crossings.

ICE and CBP have about 66,000 armed officers covering the entire United States and its territories. Houston PD has about 5,400 officers covering 640 square miles.
As of today, Houston PD has shot 12 people this year. Federal immigration agents have shot 11.

I honestly think it is a byproduct of the ease with which they can communicate with passengers now.
When flights were cancelled or delayed 10 years ago, or gates changed, there was no easy mechanism to blast the info out to he passengers by email or text message. The difficulty in managing the problems on the telephone with an army of live-body customer service personnel meant every possible remedy short of flight disruption was attempted.
Now they blast out a text message and their job is done. After that it's on the passengers to adjust. The reduction in friction caused by flight disruptions makes them easier -- for airline personnel -- to endure.

I’ve flown American for 21 years. At least 4 flights a month religiously. I really don’t know what’s happening this year but my team and I are about to give up our status to switch to delta. I shit you not… EVERY FLIGHT THIS YEAR is late, delayed, needs maintenance at the last minute or is straight up canceled. Get your shit together or lose us and many more professional travelers @AmericanAir
