Tesla has changed the picture in my Tesla Account to the new image for the Founders Series Roadster. For the past 9 years it has shown the old roadster Pic.
Not surprised to see 7 seat model Y’s in New Tesla inventory. I’m sure buyers cancelled to order Y L.
I don’t understand why Tesla even makes 3 row Y’s any longer.
A friend of mine called asking if he should buy a used 2021 Tesla Model S Plaid with 50k miles as his first EV. After 30 minutes, he is going to buy a new Model Y with FSD. 1,000 hp is cool, but FSD is the ultimate driving luxury in 2026.

I was in the room when Rivian R2 was announced. Had my phone up and ordered a minute before the car came onto the stage. Was in such a hurry to order, I spelled my name wrong. My order window finally opened. Our family does need a new car. Here are my pros and cons:
Reason I’m hesitating:
1: The @Out_of_Spec range test showed less than 300 miles range.
2: No point to point autonomy
3: Need to pay cash since interest rates are high.
4: Don’t love the front look, feels outdated like R1s and boxy.
Reason I would buy it:
1: Seats and interior feel Luxury.
2: Suspension is very comfortable.
3: Charges fast, high rate for long time.
4: I like the people and ethos of Rivian.

He was the last to leave for the Drive portion of the day, was also the last to leave the Tesla Diner later that evening. There is not a better Journalist in the EV space than Kyle.
