Also slight efficiency improvement since we can better form the areas around the bolts to keep the underbody airflow cleaner than what stamped aluminum allows

Today marks 21 straight days of our family’s West Coast road trip in the Cybertruck. So far we’ve driven 3,493 miles, and every mile has reminded me why I believe this is THE greatest road-trip vehicle ever built. Tesla FSD has handled all the driving, which means I get to spend more time playing & talking with my family, enjoying the scenery, and arriving at each destination feeling far less worn out than I ever did on road trips in the past in a non-Tesla. The Cybertruck has been an absolute beast. It’s comfortable, incredibly capable, has more than enough room for everything we’ve packed, and has taken us through cities, highways, mountains, and national parks without missing a beat. After 21 straight days on the road, it’s needed zero maintenance, just charging and going, like a phone. The combination of the Cybertruck, Tesla’s Supercharger network, and FSD completely changes what a road trip feels like. After 3,493 miles and 21 consecutive days behind the wheel, I can honestly say I’ve never experienced anything like it. A Tesla truly makes road trips multiple times more enjoyable… I can’t ever imagine driving anything else.

And Reliability gets better every year - we haven't stopped improving and don't plan to. Collaboration with service + vehicle data makes it possible to root cause and fix issues quickly. Definitely not perfect, but doing 1% better each day ends up 37x better after a year...

Before / After washing the solar panels +12% more energy, definitely worth the effort Also I love the "Charge on Solar" feature which just siphons off whatever extra solar energy the house isn't using to charge my Cybertruck

Love seeing the Cybertruck used here, it's also a great mobile power source. With the capacity of more than 9 power walls on wheels, it will make this setup easy to deploy and run -- very cool

Every one of these dots is an actual crash from the fleet. Real world speeds, collisions, and people. Not just the regulatory test cases. The richness of this data is what enabled the result. With simulation we can replay the crashes and measure the forces on the human body model. Then sweep through restraint deployment times to find that deploying earlier gives the time for the bag to be inflated optimally and seat belt pretension before the occupant has moved out of position. But it takes time for crash accelerometers to be certain. Lowering that time threshold risks unwanted deployments. Using vision gives the vehicle confidence to reduce that timing. The camera sees the impending impact and together with the sensors tell the restraint controller to reduce the filter and act sooner. The Y Axis shift in Predicted Injury Severity is based on sensors in the human body models from rerunning the crash simulations with the faster detection threshold. Such a reduction in injury severity across the spectrum is unheard of, let alone doing this via an update over the air. I'm extremely proud of the analysis team's work and dedication. Going above and beyond to ask "we have the safest car on the road but can we make it even safer?" And then working with the vision team to build the predictions needed to make it happen. Rigorously tested in simulation and then in physical crash testing. Now deployed and improving lives. I watch the video on loop and just imagine each dot, a person.
