Prysm release v5.3.0 is here! Updating to this release is required for Holesky and Sepolia operators and it is recommended for mainnet users This release includes support for Pectra activation in the Holesky and Sepolia testnets! It also contains many fixes for Electra that have been found in rigorous testing through devnets in the last few months. Two notable features in this release: 1. There is a new file layout structure for storing blobs. Rather than storing all blob root directories in one parent directory, blob root directories are organized in subdirectories by epoch. This should vastly decrease the blob cache warmup time when Prysm is starting. 2. From where I'm standing, there's basically universal agreement among researchers that gas limit increase features are top priority for glamsterdam. @adietrichs and others in ER have this as their primary focus: delayed execution, block-level access lists, 4444, gas pricing changes, all things that can together enable gas limit -> 300m (not 100m) If the functionality is done sooner than glamsterdam, then glamsterdam itself can happen "sooner than glamsterdam". I'm seeing a lot of willingness to do faster hard forks post-pectra with near-zero pushback. And all the other things are already in the pipeline. 7702 solves the "click two times to swap" thing, that's in pectra (though it requires wallet support). Based rollups are making rapid progress (@taikoxyz and @NethermindEth Surge are good to follow here). Long-term AA (7701) is being aggressively simplified (thank you @yoavw!) so that we can get the benefits of abstracted verification (with censorship resistance) with minimum load on consensus spec.

橙子晚间解读 4.18 川普与鲍威尔翻脸、全球贸易僵局与加密市场动态：乱局中的新机遇 川普和鲍威尔彻底撕破脸了，即前天鲍威尔直截了当的说不会给关税政策擦屁股，川普一天换八个方向，别指望美联储救市的狠话，昨晚川子终于忍不住了，直接说鲍威尔越早下台越好，对他的工作不满意，他在玩弄政治，他太糟糕了，如果自己要求鲍威尔就得离职。尤其是在昨晚欧央行连续第七次降息25基点，让川普更加坐不住了，现在全世界都在讨论川普解雇鲍威尔的可行性，目前第一备选人是前美联储理事沃什，这货之前一直支持川普的关税政策，说这个政策对通胀的影响是一次性、微小的，同时他也是共和党的主要金主雅诗兰黛接班人的女婿，总之这货上台了，美联储就再也没有独立性了，基本上就是川普的牵线木偶。美国参议员沃伦认为如果鲍威尔被解雇，美国市场将会崩盘。目前polymarket上鲍威尔在任期内被解雇的概率只有20%，说明美联储主席这个职位还是没那么好动的，美国历史上还没有总统解雇美联储主席的先例，而且就算是弹劾，也只能是主席犯错了，现在鲍威尔和川普只是意见不合，而且鲍威尔可是川普在第一任期任命的，随后拜登任期给了鲍威尔第二个任期，川普上台之后继续提名鲍威尔，任期将持续到2026年5月15日，所以这期间川普只能受着，算是自己给自己挖了个大坑了，后面川普的任命估计不再任人唯贤了，而是任人唯亲，忠诚将会被摆在第一位。 关于贸易谈判，川普依然是信心满满，说是欧盟和日本最终都能达成协议。但是人家可不这么认为，欧盟表示考虑在贸易谈判失败的情况下对美国实施出口限制，日本也说出了同意下次会谈外，几乎灭有任何进展，日美离场存在较大差距，希望在90天内能达成共识。而中国这边，白宫放话没有接到中国的电话，看起来双方谁都不怂啊，美媒这边表示川普高估了关税政策对中国的杀伤力。不过比较好玩的是，川普前脚说英伟达黄仁勋是自己好兄弟，英伟达将投资5000亿在美国建厂，后脚就给黄仁勋压力，要他美国中国二选一，结果老黄也是一点儿面子不给川普，第二天就专机飞到中国了，这次老黄不止把皮衣脱了，还在中国表态，英伟达将继续不遗余力优化符合监管要求的产品体系，坚定不移地服务中国市场。看来老川的二选一政策也不太灵啊，英伟达离开中国就像断腿一样，很难受。 感觉川普上台100天，之前吹过的牛一件都没实现，现在老毛子丝毫没有停战的意思，说是川普和普京正在准备下次通话，而且美国这边还提出了四分乌克兰计划，乌东地区归大鹅，乌西地区归欧盟，中间和北部归乌克兰人民，矿产归美国，这个计划要是最终成功了， 那么接下来全世界都别搞经济，都造核弹吧，因为俄乌战争结果告诉我们，谁的拳头大，谁说的算。另外以色列这边也放消息了说要在5月份对伊朗核设施进行打击，这个美国媒体表示政府不支持该计划，新一轮美伊核问题谈判将在19号进行，总之川普上台这么久，世界变得更乱了。 最后说市场，大饼表现还是挺坚挺的，美股昨晚下跌，大饼基本没动，山寨也都开始走微反弹行情了，目前大饼市占率超过了62%，这个占比往往都意味着山寨要反弹，虽然现在市场情绪整体低迷，但是只要大饼能稳住，山寨也不至于继续新低了，而且大饼ETF昨晚结束了外流，净流入了1.06亿美元，其中贝莱德贡献了8000w，是绝对主力，这说明机构级别的购买力正在回升，再加上美联储主席暗示银行将放宽对加密的支持，这个绝对是不小利好；以太坊这边也有好消息，pectra升级时间定在了5月7号，这次升级主要是把32个ETH质押限额提升到2048个ETH，这个改变虽然会让ETH节点更加集中，这个升级之后给以太坊带来几个方面的影响，另外本次升级将会增加blob费用、提升ETH需求，这次升级会让ETH重回通缩，也可看做市场叙事和投机吸引，长期可以巩固L1的统治，不像之前流量都分给了L2，导致主网竞争力不足，所以5月份的以太坊还是挺值得期待的；其它山寨方面基本都是跟着大盘走，币安这边继续疯狂上币，前几天 $kernel $wct 刚上完，然后新的launchpool $init 又来了，alpha也没闲着，连续上了 $fhe $GM $dark , binance wallet 马上上线lorenzo 的IDO，认购上线3bnb，开始时间是今晚17-19点，然后币安非常有意思，3月下架了 $aergo 现货和合约，这一个月内这币涨了接近10x，然后前天又上线了aergo的合约，我都怀疑币安是不是换人了，总之即使行情这么差，币安依然在无节制上币，确实有点儿过分了，把上币的劲头拿来下币，对市场应该更好一些。
