NASA has selected @SpaceX to launch StarBurst. 🚀 The small satellite will scan the sky for short gamma-ray bursts from merging neutron stars, capturing the earliest high-energy signals. StarBurst is targeted to launch on a Falcon 9 from SLC-40 at CCSFS no earlier than 2028.

Booster stacking for the @NASAArtemis III Space Launch System rocket is nearly complete! Each booster stands 177 feet tall and will provide the majority of the 8.8 million pounds of thrust to propel four astronauts inside the Orion spacecraft on their journey to low Earth orbit.

Last week, we showed you all four RS-25 engines installed on the @NASAArtemis III rocket core stage. Now see all the work behind the scenes. These engines will help launch the Orion spacecraft and its crew into low Earth orbit, generating more than two million pounds of thrust at liftoff.

NASA and SpaceX are adjusting the launch date for Crew-13 after teams identified an oxidizer leak in Dragon’s propulsion system during standard prelaunch processing. Mission teams are assessing upcoming launch opportunities, and a new target date will be announced once available. Stay tuned for updates.

These solar arrays at Kennedy are being prepared to travel to the @Space_Station during the next resupply mission later this year. The solar arrays are part of an upgrade to help power the space station as it orbits around the world.
