Boring Company is working on a simple, precursor Hyperloop tunnel between Austin and San Antonio (>200 mph).
Due to traffic congestion, that journey can currently take up to 2.5 hours. @BoringCompany can reduce that to a consistent <30 mins.

Elon made some of the key technical decisions and still does to this day. We meet with him weekly (often more frequently). He goes deep with the team and contributes significantly. I don’t know how he does this, but he just makes it happen. Consistently for the past 10 years, and I don’t see this changing.

Remember that big bounce?!
Tesla FSD v14.3.10 started to reduce speed as it approached it! This is coming from the other direction but the bump is just as significant.

It’s just a tad too drastic to take at the speed FSD wants to go over it. You can see me quickly swipe down into Sloth, but I intervened.

I am no longer getting a message advising me to have the front camera cleaned
Thank Goodness that message is gone
This problem seems to be eradicated in v14.3.10 at first glance
Two 20-min rides to the golf course and back this morning, much more realistic acceleration. More importantly, changing Speed Profile is impacting speed again.

I’m not sure how many people will agree but FSD v14.3.9 has given me more reasons to override acceleration than any update in recent memory
Very hesitant to get up to speed, even on Hurry. Merging on the highway today required me to press the accelerator to get up to speed. Usually, FSD is good about using the on ramp to blend into the speed of traffic. That just isn’t the case here.
There was also an instance that FSD chose not to pass an 18-wheeler on the interstate despite it traveling 39 in a 55. There were plenty of chances to get in the passing lane and it never chose to do so. I intervened and executed the pass manually.
Respectfully, it feels like a grandma driving.

🚨 Tesla FSD v14.3.9 has been very impressive in other ways. Yesterday in the Y L we had a pretty heavy rain and I was coming off a back road.
FSD stopped short to allow a vehicle to have an easier turn, then took its own turn slowly to not impede oncoming traffic

Just solved a hardware issue with a software update
Cybertruck doors are notoriously tough - and they make a really nice "woody" thud when closed. But when the window was open we instead got a "tinny" rattle.
The glass was rattling in it's sliding channel. This was solved for the fleet over the air by rolling the window up slightly when the door opens so the seals stabilized the glass. As a bonus it makes a little Cybertruck profile.
You can still force the window to stay down, just press the window switch a second time once the door is open

I'd never stop using FSD. I don't mind helping it from time to time.
When my buddy got his Y, he kept FSD for his free three months. He loved it, but decided he would drive manually for a while.
For me, once I tried it, I wasn't ever going back.
