What are the most asked questions we're getting right now? As we wrap up the launch period of Fairground AI Creator TV, we wanted to answer the questions we hear most from our community. 1. How do I know if my film will be distributed? Once a film is submitted, we run it through a process that evaluates IP, trademarks, music rights, and more. If cleared, it goes to manual review, where we try to match it with distribution opportunities. Demand has been intense. Submission volume has been overwhelming and new films currently face a wait of almost a month for evaluation. We don't believe in shortcuts. Every film deserves the time and attention to be reviewed properly and that's something we deeply care about. That said, we're not happy with that timeline. We're actively working to review content faster and give our community clearer updates on where their film stands. Right now, we only reach out when a distribution opportunity arises, factoring in previous submissions. Expect improvements in the coming months. 2. What does reporting look like? Stream starts, watch time, time slot performance, and demographics are the metrics we plan to provide by year-end. As all platforms report differently, we're focused on offering the best data possible, while accepting that some provide more granular data than others. Initial reporting is already coming in. Full revenue and performance data can take 60–120 days. That's the nature of CTV and FAST platform reporting cycles, not something specific to us. 3. How much money will my content make? This is the question that matters most (and for good reason). AI cinema is still hard to monetize and few creators are making a full-time living from it yet. We want to be transparent about revenue while we build toward a future where more AI filmmakers can focus solely on making amazing content. Revenue reporting from CTV and FAST platforms typically comes at the end of the reporting cycle mentioned above. As that data comes in, we'll first share a forecast with our community that gives them a clearer sense of earning potential. Once the finalized data is available, we'll be disclosing more publicly. Our goal is data that's fast and useful, but accuracy comes first. Fairground is honored to be part of the inaugural AI Creator Day. AI Creators and Filmmakers are producing amazing work, earning them millions of followers and hundreds of millions of views globally on social media. So what comes next? Founder & CEO Colin Petrie-Norris (@cpetrien) will be joining the panel "From AI Tools to Audience Hits: Building What's Next" alongside Chris M. Williams (@chrismwil), the Founder & CEO of @pocketwatchhq. They will be digging into new models for creator-driven entertainment, including how AI-native content is making its way from digital platforms to the biggest screens in the home. This is a timely conversation for us. Fairground has spent the last few months bridging the gap between the incredible, hard work of the AI filmmaking community and real distribution, getting that content in front of FAST channel viewers on major CTV platforms. As our community's work now airs on major platforms in front of new audiences, we're excited for Colin to share what Fairground is doing to lead this charge. August was an insane month for Fairground. In fact, it was the biggest month in the company's history. Here's the recap for our community: 🚀 We launched Fairground AI Creator TV, the first 24/7 FAST channel dedicated to AI cinema, live on Roku and LG. 📺 Two weeks later, the channel expanded to Amazon Prime Video and Xumo Play, putting our creators' work in front of an even bigger audience. 💻 Fairground also hosted an exclusive workshop with the Dreamina AI team on Seedance 2.5, featuring a top Dreamina creator (@zk_lonelion) walking through how he's using it in production. Participating creators also walked away with 3,000 extra credits, an example of the opportunities beyond distribution we want to offer this community. 📈 And the community itself grew over 50% in August! We even had more content submitted in a single day than in our first 9 months combined. From day one, our focus has been building the pipeline that connects AI filmmakers to real TV audiences. August was a big step in making that happen and there's more to come. If this is the new baseline, we're excited for September!

Fewer than 1 in 20 films submitted to Fairground make it to Amazon Prime, Roku, Xumo and LG. So…what actually makes the cut for Fairground AI TV? Since launch, one question has come up more than any other from the AI filmmaking community: what is Fairground looking to distribute? To answer it, we asked Alexandra Mills, our Head of Production, to explain what makes the cut for Amazon, Roku, and our other platform partners. Here's how the team evaluates content: Story first. "Plot, characters and the world are always top of the list," Alex says. "A tight 5-minute film with a real story beats a beautifully rendered 20-minute film with a weak plot, every day of the week." Length matters, but not how you'd think. Content needs to be 3+ minutes. Longer generally makes distribution easier, but length never wins over quality. Focus on the story and the length that best fits. That's what matters. Original IP Only. Every submission through the Fairground Portal goes through copyright, music licensing and trademark reviews prior to distribution. Collectively, we need to ensure that all work is 100% original and is the very best of AI cinema.  Make sure everything, including your music, is original. Formatting is strict. We distribute only 16:9 right now (no vertical), and we're aiming for PG-13 as the default, though we do have late-night slots that can carry TV-MA and above. Genre shifts with the calendar. We distribute across every major genre, but what we prioritize moves with tentpole moments and what our platform partners need. Right now: horror for Halloween, and animated work for a separate opportunity. And the thing that matters most: did we feel something? "Did the combination of human artistry and generative AI tools produce a story worth telling?" Alex says. "That's the real bar, and it should be every creator's North Star." The decisions don't stop once content airs. Fairground runs dynamic scheduling, constantly watching how content actually performs. Stream starts, watch time, overall session time. Overperforming content earns a better slot. Underperforming content makes way for something new. The lineup is never static, and neither is the bar we use to make decisions. As the technology improves, standards will increase over time. If you are submitting new content for consideration, it may take 3-4 weeks for it to be reviewed for distribution, as submission volume has increased since launch. We appreciate your patience and while it may take us time to review your film, we want to give it the time and consideration it deserves. We don’t want to rush something you put time, money and real work into. We just wrapped our first month and the data has already surprised us. Starting today, you can watch Fairground AI Creator TV on Amazon Prime Video and Xumo Play 🎉 We're proud to announce that the first 24/7 FAST channel dedicated to AI cinema is now available on two of the largest CTV and FAST platforms in the world. On Amazon, Fairground AI Creator TV is available to Prime Video's massive U.S. audience and select other territories, regardless of their plan. The channel joins creator channels such as MrBeast, iShowSpeed TV, and Hot Ones. With Xumo Play, owned by Comcast and Charter Communications, their FAST and AVOD platform is available across all major streaming devices in North America, as well as being the default streaming service for Xfinity, Spectrum and Cox set top boxes in the USA. Before some big announcements this week, we want to pause and thank the launch partners who made Fairground AI Creator TV possible. It's been one week since the FAST channel launch and the highlight hasn't been the viewership or the platform now being available. It's been watching AI filmmakers see their work on TV for the first time and the excitement that's followed. From our Day 1 creators to the newest additions to the community: thank you for trusting us with your work. We've gotten flooded with screenshots and posts this past week. Since Friday's launch of Fairground AI Creator TV, the AI filmmaking community has shown up in a way we didn't expect. Creators are already sharing that their work is live on 2 major CTV platforms, which by the end of August will have introduced their work to millions of new viewers. Newsletters and digital magazines covered the launch too, including a great feature on the cover of Mirrorize AI's latest issue. But most importantly: AI filmmakers who've spent years pushing this medium forward are finally having their work shown on TV. More updates are coming soon. We asked the world to send us their best AI Films. Over 400 people answered. After weeks of watching, rewatching, and debating, we're ready to announce the Best of AI Season 2 winners. What made judging so difficult wasn't the volume. It was the quality. From 400 submissions to 200 finalists to 16 Grand Finalists, the bar kept rising. Every cut was painful and second guessed.
