the .eth comes off, the end of a chapter for me I have decided to move on from ENS, given recent events and other reasons. I'm grateful for my time with ENS and I wish everyone well going forward This includes winding down @ethidorg. I and my incredible teammates are open to new opportunities, DMs are welcome. My team has been amazing! Any of them would make a great addition to your team: @0xthrpw @encrypteddegen @sat_eth @jalilwahdat @quantumly 🔥 Re our projects like @grailsmarket, @ensmarketbot, @efp, etc: Thank you to all of our users, we appreciate you! Most of these projects will sunset over the next few weeks (tho code remains open source), more information will be posted later Godspeed everyone 🤝

@DefiLlama This is how it should be for DeFi Analytics. Aside from smart contract audits, there should also be risk audits. Kudos to DefiLlama!
When you deposit into a vault, you're exposed to more than the vault itself: oracles, bridges, collateral, the sequencer, holders of vault roles. Introducing risk scenario planning on DefiLlama. * Maps every dependency that touches your deposit * Models your max loss from each failure point * Live now across 20 Morpho vaults

We’ve loved all our livestream cohosts. Who should we invite next time?
ENS delegates need your support now more than ever. Earn a share of 90,000 ethereum:0xc18360217d8f7ab5e7c516566761ea12ce7f9d72 in rewards for delegating your tokens to active ENS delegates. They'll even cover your gas costs for delegating. The program is time-weighted, meaning the sooner you delegate, the larger your share of the pool!

@thedaofund we need a nice, simple ethereum centric wallet with social recovery features (smart contract wallet)
@thedaofund What benefits end users the most? Wallet security: For example, safer signing flows and better phishing protection. Research, education, and incident response matter too, but funding should be targeted, with a clear objective and well-defined outcomes.

@thedaofund Hot take: Stop funding more contract audits. The last 10 major exploits that hit regular users weren't contract bugs - they were fake front-ends, wallet drainers, and social engineering. Fund the unsexy stuff: UI verification, supply chain security, anti-phishing infra.

If TheDAO could fund one area of Ethereum security next, what would you want it to be? Research? Wallet security? Incident response? Education? OpSec? Something else? We're curious where the community thinks the biggest funding gaps are.

@ensdomains closed its sealed-ballot election for three Meta-Governance stewards - now the DAO's sole working group, and its operational leadership, for Term 7 (July 2026 to June 2027). This followed @ENS_DAO's vote to fold every working group into Meta-Governance. Seven candidates ran, with ranked-choice ballots encrypted by @shutternetwork until close. 60 wallets cast 1,444,708 $ENS, clearing the 1,000,000 ENS (1% of supply) validity bar by ~44%. - @alextnetto took 28.6%: organized the election, built ENS's Security Council after a governance attack was identified - @sovereignsignal 23.8%: ran grant operations for the Uniswap Foundation, distributing $10M+ via Gitcoin rounds - @spikewatanabe & @abdullahbumar tied at 14.3% - @jkm__eth & @vegaypatino tied at 9.5% - @RagingBitcoin 0%: the only candidate arguing the DAO, ENS Labs, and the Foundation should be governed as separate entities Seats go by Copeland ranked-choice, where full rankings are compared head-to-head - so the tied third seat isn't settled by raw shares alone. With the tiebreaker applied, the three elected stewards for Term 7 are: 1. Alex Netto / netto.eth 2. Sov / sovereignsignal.eth 3. Abdullah / abdullahumar.eth Proposal:

ENS has always seemed like a decent project to me. I’m pretty disappointed that, as a Ethereum “aligned” project it is centralizing. But humans are humans. And when money comes into the picture, centralization happens I’m more disappointed in EF and Ethereum leadership in 2021-2024 supporting ENS and non financial apps like farcaster while criticizing and not even acknowledging apps like aave, compound, makerdao, curve that were generating real revenue for Ethereum , and Providing real value for people. ENS etc are fine projects. But they aren’t angels as we are now seeing. There are certainly scammy defi projects, but there are also plenty that provide real value, and some provide more real world value than the anointed “non financial apps”

Watching this interview made me really sad. I had to take a break and go play some video games. To some extent I feel for Nick, I understand his pov and can’t blame him for playing it safe. Yet still, it’s such a waste and such an L for the whole space. „You were the Chosen One! It was said that you would destroy the Sith, not join them! Bring balance to the Force, not leave it in darkness!” Fortunately, tomorrow is another day, and we can just keep building.

Why does ENS need its own token instead of just voting with ETH? Because someone rich enough could buy the ETH and grief the protocol. Kain: "You're talking about Tom Lee?" Nick Johnson: "No, it's Vitalik, to be honest." 😂

Every responsible disclosure is a choice. As @iphelix puts it: "I will share this finding with you that I otherwise could have kept for myself." Security researchers choose to help projects fix vulnerabilities instead of exploiting them or handing them to someone else. That choice deserves trust, respect, and appreciation—not friction.
