I got this dialed in... 24/7 X Community Manager w/ @bot 🫡
If you manage a brand account on X, this is literally a cheat code. Here's what to do with this update... create 3 bots: 1) 24/7 Community Manager - Scan X daily (or more frequently) for mentions of your brand. Surface tweets worth amplifying, highlight product feedback (or stuff worth flagging internally), share team posts that are trending (or performing abnormally well). I also got mine doing a daily digest, notifying me when there's an urgent alert (like a trending tweet/crisis, monitoring our launches, and doing ongoing sentiment reports. 2) X Content Strategist - Read every single tweet your brand has done. Analyze all of the engagement, replies, bookmarks, etc and recommend content buckets, ideas, memes, etc. based on top performing posts. Also worth analyzing content from the founders/team. Bonus: Have the bot build out a voice/tone skill that could be used for future content sparring. 3) X Analyst - Analyze all of the engagements and replies on your past 30/60/90 days of brand content. Tell me which accounts jump out. Any influential people? Industry leaders? Creators? etc. Then share these with the team - provides good signal.

Wise to act when Ish drops some sauce I like adding a 4th for monitoring competition as well
Grok Bot can now search, read and monitor X, which means every founder building in public can run a tiny team on X 🚨 @ishverduzco shared a playbook of 3 X bots for brand accounts. And it hit me that founders need this even MORE. You're the brand, the community team and the analyst, and you're also trying to ship. Here's how I'd set them up if I were building in public 👇🏼 1) Your build in public scout Have it scan X every morning for your product name, your competitors and the problem you solve. It surfaces people asking for exactly what you're building, users posting about you, and feedback worth turning into a ticket. A morning digest, plus a ping when something blows up. 2) Your content sparring partner Point it at every post you've ever written. Let it find what actually lands for YOU (launch updates? lessons? screenshots of the messy middle?) and pitch ideas from your own winners. 3) Your early adopter radar Have it go through everyone who replied, quoted or bookmarked your last 30/60/90 days of posts. Who keeps showing up? Which founders, creators or investors are paying attention? Those are your first users, your beta testers and your warm intros. Building in public only works if you're listening as much as you're posting. It’s insane that now now Grok Bot does the listening for you. Thanks @ishverduzco for the playbook and ideas 🙏 Founders, which bot are you building first?

I’m crafting a team of these very special folks @NotionHQ — I struggle to write JDs for these roles because everyone here on the team now is n of 1, and the “job” reveals itself as we talk. Everyone works directly with @ivanhzhao @akothari, our legendary engineering, AI, design, and product team, as well as marketing, ecosystems, and more — and Storytelling’s expertise is valued deeply as an equal partner on solving business problems. And I know we all talk about the rise of the “super IC” but it is true for us — Notion as a culture rewards people who make things amazing over those who just run things made by others, and that’s true for Storytelling. @ishverduzco @jamesjacoby_ @nikhilville @iscoe and some others TBA are coooooooking. I do have a few more roles/problems-to-solve opening up … come talk to me before I have to write an insufficient JD for your brilliant spikiness. I’m looking for a “head of soft power” (eg, external media and creator lead), an Instagram creator and strategist, YouTube show runner, and [insert your pitch here].

look for the intern with 15 years of experience there's a select group of people in content, social, marketing, & comms who intentionally chose to continue doing the work instead of moving high up the management chain by staying close to the work, they built up their craft, taste, can still create, are probably up to date on AI, won't crack under pressure, and can operate flawlessly since they have been doing it for over a decade what this looks like on a resume: "social media manager" or "content marketer" or some mix of the two + comms who has been in a few roles where they have been forced to execute (not just manage people who did the work). Sometimes this person will have a "head of" or "lead" title but they chose to stay within their niche (instead of expanding and diluting their skillset). If you dig you will notice that they still do the work (sometimes also manage a small team) - like a player-coach. maybe they worked at a few startups, a bigger company, a cutting edge/fast paced company -- the mix of these three is higher signal than someone with only experience in 1 type of company when interviewing this person, everyone from the CEO to their potential peers should leave the conversation feeling like they learned something new

The internal work matters just as much as the external work. Let me explain... A project we've been working on @NotionHQ is employee amplification – getting Notinos to post more on socials. X. LinkedIn. From the outside, a non-Notion employee sees the final output. A finished content piece. Nothing else. But a lot BTS is happening: How do we get more people to post, if they are not social-native? So... we have to play the hat of the "social media strategist." We make posting as frictionless as possible. We set up chats with each individual, hear their stories, set up affiliate accounts, brainstorm potential content pillars, spin up easy-to-follow guides/tips on getting them social-savvy, communicate w them to follow-up on posting. Etc. Etc. Etc. The work you see in public is just the tip of the iceberg. There's a lot happening underneath.

@Krishna70038 @NotionHQ The NotionHQ post just repeats "Notion context context context Notion" dozens of times. It looks like a playful or experimental post about stuffing context, tying into their bio on teams and AI agents thinking together.
