Blockworks chose not to retain me in their acquisition of Messari, so Friday was my last day.
Congrats to @AvgJoesCrypto and @ImmutableJacob for being the two to make it over from Messari research. Keep being great and standing in the presence of kings!
It was an incredible blessing to work at Messari with analysts who collectively created such a special culture.
I’m as bullish on crypto/data/research/IR as @JasonYanowitz and @MikeIppolito_ are about Blockworks’ acquisition of Messari. Internet native media like @counterpartytv, AI, and data accessibility are creating a ripe environment for new types of research/IR services, offerings, and business models I’m excited to explore.
With that, I’m actively looking for the next right opportunity. DM’s open!

Just had two stereotypical blonde U Miami freshman come up to me and ask for summer internships @MessariCrypto. One didn’t have Telegram because she “couldn’t figure it out” and the other suggested Messari completely automate all research to only use AI and fire everyone. I thanked her sarcastically for the advice and she delightfully received it. Incredible.

I think if you study Ukraine (cottage core drones and local AI) you’d realize the bottom of the k will probably win in any kinetic scenario - I think most elites don’t realize this bc they think Nukes project power (they don’t)

Earning up to 11% APY interest on all deposits used for trading is the defining feature of Grvt. Interest currently comes from protocol trading fees, with rehypothecation of most user deposits to external DeFi protocols coming soon as a second source of interest. Grvt announced @aave will be its first external yield source in February.
Grvt’s share of total Perp DEX open interest has increased 26x year-over-year (YoY) to 3.1%, far outpacing the 4x increase in total Perp DEX open interest from $3.3 billion to $14 billion over the same time period.
