One thing I really prefer in Codex over Claude is that after a turn of work Codex provides a summary and hides all of the working out whereas Claude does not. It makes it really hard for me to know what is important and what is not.

Yup @AnthropicAI Opus 5 seems good at @convex, about where you would expect it
I’m significantly older than you. I started coding in the late 60s. My current strategy is to not read any of the code written by my agents. That’s the only way I can take advantage of their productivity. What I do instead is to surround the agents with extreme constraints. Unit tests, gherkin tests, QA procedures, quality metrics, mutation testing, test coverage, and a plethora of others. In the end, I have very high confidence in the code they produce because they’ve had to run the gauntlet of all of my constraints and tests.

what are these headings above headings called and why does AI insist on adding them to every design?
Many people dont know @convex has full-text-search built right into it and the awesome part is just like the rest of Convex its reactive!
Yep! @convex components are building blocks for your backend. Your agent can assemble them to form a well test tested, scalable backend for you.
> I don't even use the app anymore but just generate my own app to do things I really think this is where we're going. It's not AI enabling "everyone to code". It's AI enabling anyone to "assemble software by asking". We rethink the "unit of distribution" Instead of only distributing apps, you distribute small, well-built, well tested blocks that an agent can put together. For you. Yes. Personal Software. We're not there for consumer apps but we might already be for developer tools/apps. people will pay for small parts that work well together. your agents will look for them. Looking back, this is what we did with shadcn/ui. Changed the unit of distribution from a packaged component library to well-built components you assemble. Same idea. Now at a much larger scale.

Man I love AI. I have been slowly working on my mac-taskbar tool while working on other things and its in a place where im pretty happy with it. If you want it, point your agent at and tell it to copy the source and then customise. Its free!

I wish @OpenAI Codex / Desktop ChatGPT could have folders for projects so that I could categorize things a bit more, its getting a bit messy on the side there and I dont want to remove projects that are cold as I will come back to them

Made a new tool for doing rough cuts of a video then exporting to filmora. Again AI seems surprisingly good at Swift code
Whats currently the go-to for building your own video editor? Reactvideoeditor? Editframe? Something else?
Kimi K3 is "okay" at @convex scoring 89% with the guidelines and 75% when not given the guidelines
Gotta say @OpenAI Sol's new found eagerness to use computer-use has been an absolute game changer for me, its unlocked so many more tasks
I need this for roo's
Tesla FSD this morning...without it...this would not have turned out well for me. As you can see...no manual intervention from me...completely Handled (Swerve, hard brake, resume) by FSD @Tesla @thejefflutz @Tesla_AI

this is what 24 hours of Fable 5 can do context: - World of Warcraft inspired 2D game - faithful recreation of the game mechanics - questing, leveling, loot, bags, rare/elite mobs, etc this is all working incredibly well already i'm now traveling for the next week but will keep this running and bring GPT 5.6 Sol into the mix to speed up progress and avoid hitting Claude limits Codex generated the pixel art already btw. music/sfx will obviously be replaced, this is just a PoC

Wow Grok 4.5 is very impressive at @convex code. Almost perfect score with a very very low run cost! Nice work @SpaceXAI! Without the guidelines it is worse as expected so make sure you are using the guidelines file (ai-files) when using Grok 4.5 + Convex.
