Damn, im in love with Opus 5.5. Its the best model ive ever used, has such a good taste, is comparatively quickly, smart and finally precise instead of verbose. As good as Opus 5.5 is, I'm incredibly excited for Fable 5.5. After switching completely to Codex, I now have to go back to Anthropic. oh and btw. its crazy how fast the vibe has changed. Now all I read on X are posts about how great Opus tastes and how OpenAI absolutely has to catch up. One day that changed everything.

Claude Opus 5.5 completely changes what is possible. Work that used to take me 2 weeks now takes me 2 hours. I still can't wrap my head around that. It's Fable 5.1 level intelligence at $4 in and $20 out, it's faster than Opus 5, and the limits finally let me use it all day. No model has ever given me all three at once. The world is changing so fast and most people have no idea yet.

opus 5.5 = personality of opus 4.6 that we all *desperately* wanted back + the intelligence & taste of fable 5.1. and a 25% usage bump! i honestly don’t really see a reason to use another model right now? s-tier release.

Projects brings the architecture of Claude Tag to Claude Code. It has one agent per project that manages memory and spins off subagents for tasks. You can ask it to be proactive, to do things on a schedule, etc. It feels a lot nicer than a bunch of sessions, try it out!

Projects now run from one conversation, starting in Claude Code. You describe what needs doing, and Claude directs parallel threads that keep working after you close your laptop. In beta today for select Pro and Max users in cloud sessions; coming to all Claude users soon.

Today, we are merging Claude Cowork and chat to simplify how you use Claude! We are also integrating Claude Design so that you can ask Claude to make a Slide, Design, or Doc without needing to switch tabs or apps. Many of you shared that you didn't want to choose which Claude product to use for any task. As Claude models have become more capable, we've found that Claude can handle the routing for you. Based on your prompt, Claude will decide whether to give a quick answer or do deeper agentic work, and what kind of output best fits the task. You're in control the whole time: you can still stop, redirect, or exert finer control over Claude's effort or approach. Give it a try and let us know what you think. We're rolling this out slowly over the next few weeks to get it right.
