Despite deleting this page from their website, the @ymca, which receives $600 million in taxpayer funding annually, has national guidance for LGBTQ+ inclusion at summer camps nationwide.
They encourage all of their camps to always use gender neutral pronouns for parents and campers, allow trans-identified staff to use bathrooms and sleeping cabins in accordance with their gender identity over biology, and to celebrate Pride Month at camp with kids.
