Last week at Dreamforce, I had the opportunity to sit down for several interviews and talk about a few things I care deeply about: the power of community, the work we’re doing at SaltClick, and the shifts happening across Slack, AI, and the broader technology ecosystem.
One thing became even clearer throughout the week - we’re not simply watching AI features get added to the same systems we’ve always used. We’re seeing a fundamental shift in how people interact with technology.
The future isn’t more tools, tabs, and disconnected workflows. It’s bringing people, data, business systems, and AI together in the places where work is already happening.
That evolution is also changing the role of the admin. Admins are no longer just configuring technology. They’re becoming business architects, adoption leaders, and trusted guides who help organizations determine where AI can create real value.
As these platforms evolve, enablement has to evolve with them. We need to give our community, and the broader workforce, the knowledge, confidence, and practical skills to work alongside AI, not simply access it.
That’s what makes the evolution of Slack so exciting. Slack is becoming more than a collaboration tool. It’s becoming a central interface where people can work alongside agents, access information, make decisions, and take action across systems.
I’m grateful for the opportunity to share what we’re learning, represent the community that has shaped so much of my career, and talk about how we’re helping customers prepare for what comes next at SaltClick.
Dreamforce may be over, but these conversations are just getting started.
