Jerkface moved out last night. And then informed me that he did NOT actually transfer utilities like he said he had. I had to scramble and get stuff set up for new accounts even though my name was on all the previous accounts. This morning, he decided to revoke my access to the doorbell camera after I asked him where the manual and all the info was for transferring that access over to me. So now he has access to continue watching my house where my children are but I don’t. I hate him.

The other day I’m cutting this little biracial boy’s hair and his mom says, “Cut it really short because I HATE his curls.” I immediately tell him, “No, your curls are beautiful.” She says, “No, he looks raggedy because his hair is always so dry.” Me: “Well… maybe learn how to care for his hair? Would you like some product recommendations?” his curls aren’t making him look “raggedy.” You not knowing how to take care of them is.

When my sister was pregnant, her cat became completely obsessed with the baby. He could somehow tell whenever she moved or kicked, and every time he felt it, he’d curl up against my sister’s belly and start purring. When she went into labor, he wouldn’t leave her side. Every time she had a contraction, he’d meow and cry like he was trying to coach her through it. While they waited for the ambulance, he even put his paws against her side and gently rubbed her. Everyone was emotional watching him worry about her. When she finally came home from the hospital with my niece, he immediately fell in love. He’d snuggle beside the baby, sniff her hair, and make those little happy motor noises. Whenever she cried, he was right there, looking around like he needed to figure out how to help. If anyone touched the baby, he’d come running over like, “Excuse me, what exactly are you doing with MY child?” 😂 He’d even alert everyone whenever she woke up or started making little baby noises. That cat wasn’t just a pet. He was her best friend, protector, and furry big brother for 14 beautiful years. Love and miss you forever, Bud. ❤️🐾

A friend organized a barbecue on Saturday and asked everyone to chip in $40 for meat, drinks, and everything else. One of our friends showed up almost three hours late. By the time he got there, there was barely any meat left. He ate a little, had two beers, and joked, “I paid $40 for garlic bread.” Everyone laughed. The next day, he messaged the host asking for $25 back. He said he didn’t think it was fair to pay the same amount when he arrived after almost everything was gone.
