My husband wants me to sell the only house my mother left me so he can help his brother pay off a debt, and apparently I’m the difficult one for hesitating.

A power company shut off the power to a family in North Carolina after they made a partial payment, and they all died. This includes a little child, and 3 dogs.
They died of a potential carbon monoxide poisoning… according to CBS17. They were running a generator to survive in the heat. They owed the town of Rocky Mount $2,000.
They were behind a payment so a full payment was needed to turn it back on. They paid a partial payment ($1000) the electrical company didn’t turn it back on.… ⬇️

So I'm stuck in traffic and nothing is moving. Suddenly, a man knocks on my window.
I roll down the window and ask, "What's going on?"
He says "Terrorists have kidnapped Trump and Vance and are asking for a $10 million dollar ransom.
Otherwise, they are going to douse them in gasoline and set them on fire. We are taking up a collection."
I ask “How much is everyone giving, on average?”
The man replies, "About a gallon."

I watched a woman cut an entire mall queue, and when I politely called her out, she pointed at me and said, “You have no idea what I’m carrying right now.”
I was standing in line at a crowded mall checkout, probably 15 people deep, when she suddenly walked past everyone and stood near the front. Someone behind me muttered, “Seriously?”
I finally said, “Excuse me, the line starts back there.”
She turned around. “I know.” That answer somehow made it worse.

I worked with the elderly as a nurse. An entire nursing home got Covid before the vaccines. They lost almost the entire population. It spread like wildfire. After vaccines another home got hit but they had zero deaths. Anyone who got sick recovered.
These were medically compromised elderly people with co morbidities. If that doesn’t tell you the vaccine worked, then I can’t help you understand even if i used crayons.
