Yes, you are heavily underestimating Ethereum's Glamsterdam upgrade. The gas limit increase to 200M means that Ethereum could theoretically already handle Base's average activity over the last few months (~16.7 Mgas/s). While we're not targeting that initially, there's lots of headroom for further increases in the months after Glamsterdam. IMO, this will strengthen Ethereum's role as the main DeFi hub, especially since scaling doesn't stop here. In combination with @etheconomiczone, it will also become the liquidity hub for L2s, bringing even more activity back to mainnet. @DeriveXYZ and others are already preparing their products for Ethereum season. Higher and faster.

BaiBai is now live to the public. The first PropAMM + aggregator, native to @base. Better prices than any DEX you've used -- guaranteed.
Spire has just launched our first consumer product. It's a prop AMM platform and natively integrated DEX aggregator on Base, with the best prices onchain. I've put a ton into this product and its deeply emotional to see it grow up and go out into the world. I hope you all enjoy it! BaiBai is powered by Pylon, and under the hood uses a L3 sidecar (although this is invisible to users) and synchronous composability. The approach we take to this is novel, and we are planning on open sourcing/publishing when we have time. Our ambition with this product is to bring real price discovery onchain with a trading primitive that can rival even high frequency low latency CLOBs.

🔥 Robinhood Chain Is Now Ethereum’s Biggest L2 Contributor .@RobinhoodCrypto is currently paying more fees to Ethereum than any other L2, highlighting how quickly the new chain is becoming economically significant for Ethereum Top L2s by fees paid to Ethereum last 7D: 1⃣ Robinhood Chain: $8.6K 2⃣ Aztec: $6.4K 3⃣ Base: $1.1K 4⃣ World Chain: $653 5⃣ Taiko: $567 6⃣ X Layer: $459 7⃣ Lighter: $368 8⃣ OP: $357 9⃣ Unichain: $329 10 Polygon: $251 Robinhood Chain’s contribution is nearly 8x higher than Base, one of Ethereum’s largest L2s This is an interesting shift. Robinhood isn’t just competing for users and revenue among L2s. Its growing activity is also translating into more fees flowing back to Ethereum If this trend continues, Robinhood Chain could become one of the most important new contributors to Ethereum’s economic activity

fun detail, aztec's $6.4k comes from private transactions. users prove everything but reveal nothing 👀
We’re amazed to see everyone building permissionlessly on top of Fake World Assets. We’ve deployed a version of FWA on Ethereum Sepolia for those who want to test their projects ahead of a mainnet launch.

The biggest risk-adjusted opportunity in crypto is now.
$ETH under $2,000 while Wall Street races on-chain. This window won’t stay open forever.
hey, crypto “OG” here i’ve been lucky for sure, but it wasn’t all luck. not even close i sold all of my BTC during the 2015 bear at <$300 per coin, but learned something from it i avoided ICO scams in 2017 i avoided getting liquidated for almost all of my funds during the COVID dump (i knew many whose names you have forgotten i’ve dodged thousands of rugs since (though some i definitely did not) i’ve held coins through hell and high water when everyone here said they were dead and never coming back i’ve survived on the basis of having decent risk management practices and being too lazy to participate in the most obvious scams nothing about this journey has been easy i’ve probably aged at twice the normal rate and have seen more absurd shit than most people here could even imagine from people whose names you’ve never heard because no one remembers them anymore it’s been hard. it’s been weird. it’s been tiring. it’s been amazing. but it definitely hasn’t been easy

Ethereum is built to take out the middlemen. From banks to casinos. From AWS to Verizon. From grids to fibre. And we're just barely getting started, as the core required to achieve all this is a credibly neutral and decentralized global settlement layer that can scale to meet the demands of the world. Ethereum is the only network that can achieve this, as everyone else now either has a bootstrap problem that's impossible to solve, now that the cat is out of the bag, or has sacrificed decentralization for scale, which makes it irrelevant as a credibly neutral platform. As we walk towards Lean Ethereum, this will be considered Ethereum's broadband moment. We're still so fucking early.

decoupling. The stablecoining powers of ethereum:native are too strong for $BTC to keep up
I previously promised a reset for every 1M in additional active users for Codex, until 10M. We blew past that and have been silent since 10M. Little surprise for you tomorrow.

150Ξ in protocol revenue used to buy FWA so far.
We’ve crossed 100Ξ in protocol revenue used to buy FWA, with 30% of the purchased tokens burned (0.5% of the total supply so far). Another 2,000+ NFT purchase day. The TokenWorks buyback has also accumulated 1.1% of the token supply as a team reserve, with 270Ξ remaining.

@boldleonidas FWA is ready for you if you ever want to launch through it
So many people make it their mission to further Ethereum and give it their all to make us win. It’s truly inspiring 😎
Enter: EthCoordinate. tl;dr: EthCoordinate is a crypto-native organization born inside the EthStaker community, bringing together separate efforts under one umbrella to help with Ethereum governance coordination, support Forkcast, increase stakeholder engagement on proposed or upcoming EIPs and, of course, continue providing software, tooling, and technical support for home stakers. EthStaker started in 2020 when a loosely connected group of Ethereum enthusiasts joined efforts to speed up the development of the beacon chain. The organization steadily evolved, incorporating as a 501(c)4 nonprofit and taking up initiatives around independent participants of Ethereum's consensus mechanism, aka home stakers. Throughout the years, it has played a decisive role in coordinating the launch and operation of devnets, testnets, and mainnet hard fork upgrades; facilitating information flows and generally connecting dots that needed connecting. This year's tectonic organizational changes in the ecosystem have opened up functional gaps in Ethereum coordination. To close these gaps and continue supporting the network, EthStaker's core members are joined by mission-aligned fresh blood to aggregate efforts under one name to produce greater results than operating independently. EthCoordinate is a natural evolution of EthStaker; as Ethereum mainnet heads to its third radical consensus protocol change at a steady pace, it’s time for EthStaker to recalibrate around what Ethereum’s evolving community needs. Our mission is to facilitate interaction between stakeholders of the ecosystem to accelerate the adoption of the Ethereum network and to provide continuity for governance operations. We believe that the Ethereum mainnet is an unparalleled bedrock for the augmentation of humanity's productivity output and that ETH, the asset, is the token that aligns the incentives of all actors involved. We stand up for our values, combining technical rigor with pragmatism for Ethereum to continue being the most accessible and credibly neutral global blockchain. The team is 10 long-tenured Ethereum professionals and currently our main work streams are: ⇥ Maintain a high-quality venue for independent stakers to remain engaged and informed ⇥ Facilitate coordination around core protocol development and adjacencies ⇥ Develop and steward Forkcast, the most popular platform to track the research and engineering initiatives around Ethereum's core protocol ⇥ Facilitate research, discussion, and coordination around protocol economics in support of Ethereum's long-term economic health ⇥ Maintain open source tools and documentation used by participants of the consensus set We're energized for this chapter in Ethereum coordination & our role in it.
